Thanks. We had a great vacation. The weather was really nice. We felt at home in your beautiful villa. It was very clean and the neighbourhood was nice and quiet. The house was very well equipped. A pool cover is the only thing we could think of that you didn't have. There was plenty of places to eat nearby which was great. Another television might be nice to have in the other bedroom. The pool area was great and had plenty of seating. We had a great time and thanks again for letting us rent your beautiful villa.

A quick note to say thank you to both you and Beth for renting us the villa at such short notice. We had a lovely week, did all the usual touristy things and took time to relax by the pool. The villa is fabulous and in a great location and certainly lived up to the pictures on the internet. I will not hesitate to recommend you to our friends and family and also hope we may return in the future.

We had an excellent stay at your villa. Our last day, we stayed home the entire time. We stayed in the pool, catching up on all of our magazines, and just having a blast, doing nothing! It was one of the best days of vacation we ever had! It’s a lovely home, with quiet neighbors and a great location.

Had a fantastic week at Sunny Dunes, a lovely spacious villa, you get a real feel of space from the high ceilings and large lounge/living room. Kitchen is well laid out with everything you need. Bedrooms airy and comfortable so you can wake in the morning refreshed and ready for the day whether out and about to local attractions, Disneyland, Universal studios, ......................the Kennedy space center is awesome, or having yourself some serious retail therapy.
There’s a Wal-Marts within walking distance for anything you’re gonna need and even a Chinese takeaway that’s very good if you don’t feel like cooking or going to one of the many local restaurants like Mannys or Red Lobster.
The south facing pool is very well placed and feels nice and secluded thanks to the clever arrangement of the screening. And if golf’s your thing well need I say more!
Booking the villa was very straight forward and quick. Beth replied very quickly to my enquiry and kept in touch throughout. She was very helpful, answering all my questions straight away and giving some info on local restraints etc.
Sunny Dunes is a quiet peaceful place and very well maintained. Would and have recommended this villa to friends and hope to be returning myself later in the year.

We spend a week holidays in the Sunny Dunes villa during the last week of November. It turned out to be a very comfortable house in a quiet area and yet very close to all attractions Orlando and Florida have to offer.
We had a great time there with our family (5 adults): sufficient space, good bedrooms and a fantastic swimming pool. The good weather in Florida and the convenience of a 24h shopping center in the neighbourhood did the rest.

Fabulous Villa. Love the 'airness' of the living space and great pool area. Great location near various supermarkets and within easy reach of the Disney resorts and some serious retail shopping therapy!! Definitely recommend. Thank you
Owner's Response: Sounds like you were able to enjoy all the benefits of the villa, close to all the parks and shopping but situated in a quite location. As you found the villa and south facing deck and pool are bigger than some and so you have all the room you need to unwind and relax in the sunshine after all the fun of the parks and shopping.

Why Sunny Dunes Villa?

We had never been to Florida and spent a lot of time in advance to find proper accommodation. We searched on the Internet and found a lot of results. A link to the Sunny Dunes’ homepage revealed nice images, so I picked up my phone. After a few friendly calls with Jayne I felt quite confident. It’s important to talk to the owners, which gives you a better feeling. Jayne and Beth live in the UK. One thing you fear by wiring money in advance, is to lose them, but I felt I could trust these people.
After payment I received a information package by email, which made it easy to find the house.
The villa is clean and bright. We felt immediately at home. You don’t need to bring anything but your clothes and tooth brushes. Some minor things needed to be corrected. But I called Beth, who got in contact with a local service company. They sent up a maintenance man at once.
Sunny Dunes is spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. The Wal-mart store is located a few minutes away, just outside the front gate. With a product range of 10 times what you find in our stores. So it’s possible to find just what you prefer.
We enjoyed lazy mornings at the private pool. No rush. Then from noon visiting attractions, making shopping – or simply relax. The Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club is an eldorado for golfers, has a fitness centre and a few major outdoor pools. You will have free access to gym and pool.
There are a lot of attractions in the area. The Disney parks speak for themselves. You should also see the Kennedy Space Centre, 1.5 hour drive east.
We never forget the airboat ride we had on the Cypress Lake, where we saw alligators and animal life in a wet vegetation. Fantastic!
A number of factory outlets in the Orlando / Kissimmee area offer you a wide range of clothes and accessories to enviable prices for a European.
Normally we returned in the evening to prepare a proper dinner. Or you can just skip it or eat out. Sitting at the pool nights, in the warm air, listening to nothing but grasshoppers was very romantic. Don’t forget to put on the green pool light, which makes it even more romantic. What about a glass of wine?
For non US-visitors or distant residents a rental car is needed. We will highly recommend a GPS. Programming the destination, and then you go. The Americans have a very polite way of driving, we did not see any hazard-drivers. And the standard is good.
All in all we are very satisfied. So why not try Florida and Sunny Dunes Villa?

Buchung: Wir waren Mitte März 2009 für eine Woche in Beth's Sunny Dunes Villa. Es war unser erster Step auf einer Rundreise durch Florida. Beth, die Besitzerin, hat uns vor und nach der Buchung hervorragend betreut. Jede Anfrage per Telefon oder per Mail wurde von Ihr sofort beantwortet. Die Rückzahlung der im Vorfeld geleisteten Kaution erfolgte problemlos.
Umgebung: Die Villa liegt sehr ruhig in der Sunny Dunes Anlage. Der nächste WalMart liegt direkt vor dem Tor zur Anlage. Theme Parks und weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Orlando sind schnell zu erreichen.
Villa: Die Villa hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir fühlten uns sofort zuhause. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, wenn man selbst kochen möchte. Die Poolanlage lädt zum abendlichen draußen sitzen ein. Wir hatten keine offenen Wünsche und waren vollauf zufrieden. Und zudem war die Villa absolut sauber. Der W-Lan-Anschluss funktionierte einwandfrei.
Fazit: Die Villa ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir würden diese unseren Freunden jederzeit weiterempfehlen - 100%tig.

Surroundings: The villa is very quiet in the Sunny Dunes area. The next WalMart is directly in front of the gate of the area. Theme parks and other attractions are fast to reach.
Villa: The villa has pleased us very well, we immediately felt at home. The rooms are great and equipped very well. The kitchen leaves no wishes open, if you would like to cook. The swimming-pool invites to sit outside in the evening. We had no open wishes and were lucky, that we find these villa. And - the villa was absolutely clean. W-Lan worked without problems.
Result: The villa left no wishes open. We would recommend these villa to our friends - 100%.
