Photos and Description of the Loreto vacation house rental
2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 1 to 5 comfortably

HGTV featured this lovely home in 2008; the house can be seen on House Hunter reruns. Make this unique home yours for a long weekend, a week, or more!

Your beautiful vacation rental offers a two-story, two-bedroom, two-bath home with a third floor viewing tower affording dramatic views of the Sierra Giganta Mountain range in addition to the Sea of Cortez.

The house is perfectly situated for a quiet and relaxing or active vacation. It's near everything but not on the main road or foot-traffic pattern so you get all the amenities close by but none of the busy surroundings. Your location makes it ultra easy to walk to the community pool (4 houses away) or across the street to the Inn at Loreto where restaurants, pools, lounges and the beach await.

A small convenient grocery store offering food items, drinks, and personal items is steps away.

First floor amenities: This unique Aquaria floor plan was created for only a few homes in this development and offers the most spacious living areas available in a Village Home. First floor includes large living room with 'Loreto's most comfortable couch' where you can watch your favorite dvd on the flat screen HDTV. The kitchen has granite counter tops and convenient breakfast bar. It includes a microwave, electric glass-top range, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster oven, and lots of light from the large window. French glass doors connect the living room to the interior garden and fountain creating an indoor/outdoor environment. The private exterior garden sits outside the kitchen/dining area and is where you will want to enjoy a good book or casual conversation with new friends, who you are sure to meet here.

Washer/dryer is conveniently located on the first floor. Bedrooms and living spaces have air conditioning/heater units. Two adult sized bikes and one child's bike included with rental.

First floor bed and bathroom: Bedroom # 1 on the first floor has a comfy queen size bed with twin trundle that hides underneath the queen bed during the day. Bedroom has private bathroom with deep soaking tub, large shower stall, and double sink vanity. Armoire for clothes plus a convenient desk for your laptop make this room feel like home. Plus the plush cotton towels and luxurious bed linens make this rental extra special. Bathroom window opens onto private garden with beautiful water fountain.

Second floor bed and bathroom: The Master bedroom on the second floor includes a queen size canopy bed, two large armoires, two desks with conveniently located internet connection, French glass doors leading to a charming Juliet balcony where you can take in the stunning mountain view. Private bathroom includes large shower stall, double sink vanity, closets and drawers for clothes storage, and spectacular golf course and mountain views from a cozy window seat.

The second floor boasts a huge deck with table that seats eight for outdoor dining, shaded by a large pergola and retractable shades. From your deck you'll overlook the spectacular lava rock which sits along the 17th hole of the golf course. And of course, sunsets unlimited are viewed from here or from your private viewing tower!

It's true! The photos do not do this house justice. It's a beautiful home with high ceilings and nice tile work, decorated with colorful & unique art and furnished just like a comfortable home. We loved how the house felt lived in, so we could take advantage of the all of the details like the citrus juicer, the soft evening lighting, and the fully stocked kitchen. The couch is luxurious! We also loved that we were steps from the community pool and just across from the hotel beachfront, where palapas and lounge chairs waited for us. It was quiet and and evening views of the desert mountains were beautiful. Ann was really helpful answering all questions about what activities to do and how to find the best spots to eat in Loreto. Our highlights were snorkeling everyday at the point in front of the hotel and riding the cruiser to get morning coffee. We'd recommend this for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway with all of the adventures Baja has to offer at your doorstep, as well as for families with young kids who want a safe place to lounge by the pool or beach. We would recommend renting a car as options for groceries and eating out in the resort area were very limited and the food in Loreto is so good!

It was great to stay in this house. We felt at home and really enjoy the time we spent there. The house offers a lot of space and is cosy. You will find all what you need to have a great stay and enjoy your vacation.

Moreover Nopolo is really beautiful and quiet, we enjoy walking in the little streets and along the beach. It is very peaceful.

I highly recommend this place to stay.

Do not miss a Coronado Island excursion while you are in Loreto!

We liked your house better

Hi Ann,

Thanks for letting us use the nice accommodation in Loreto. We really liked the layout of the rooms and your tasteful decor; it is warm, inviting, with personal touch. In fact our other family members who slept in a neighboring house hung around all the time playing games, watching movies and cooking at your house nearly every evening because we all liked your house so much better. You did nice job selecting the furniture and putting in nice lighting.

Thanks so much.

Lovely and comfy!

Dear Ann,

Just to let you know, we arrived in Loreto. Your home is lovely, and we are already settled in. Brian is golfing with the boys, and I had coffee with a delightful elderly gentleman and his dog at the coffee house. Weather is perfect, bed comfy, and we couldn't be happier.

I'm reluctant to admit how wonderful it is, because it won't be available the next time we want to rent!

Cheers, Sabine

We loved this place from the second we opened the door. Furnishings are quality, lots of movies, places to lounge and a great kitchen. The community of Loreto Bay is very beautiful. The folks we met were super friendly and from everywhere. All staff we interacted with were great, spoke english and went out of their way to be helpful. Thanks, Anne, the stay was all we wanted in a Mexican vacation.
Owner's Response: Thanks for this glowing review Robin. So glad the house met your vacation needs. We'll welcome you back any time!

Wonderful Girls Weekend!

I stayed at the Brown's lovely home for a Mother's Day get-away with some girlfriends. It was just what was needed to revitalize and I thoroughly enjoyed the comforts of their place. The home is complete in its beautiful Spanish influence with the luxury of modern conveniences. The area has a European villa feel, where you can walk to enjoy some local places and enjoy the community.

The local town of Loreto is charming and very friendly. The drive is not too long and there is an old world influence in the main plaza that made me want to visit it many times during my stay for eating and shopping.

Fabulous Location and Luxury!!

Our family enjoyed a fabulous stay at this gorgeous vacation home. We now think of it as our second home! Spacious rooms, lovely furnishings, well-equiped kitchen. Spectacular views from the deck and tower...great for eating and lounging. Walked often to the pool and across the street to the spectacular hotel and restaurants. Also walked to Sea of Cortez for kayaking, snorkeling and relaxing at the beach. The quaint town of Loreto is delightful and we drove a short distance to a beautiful canyon for boulder climbing and visited the San Javier Mission. Ann was great to work with....answered all our questions and took a real interest in making sure our vacation was perfect. We'll return again and again!
