Wonderful Thanksgiving Stay
Our thanksgiving week at Tingari Ranch was fantastic. I don't think it could have been any more perfect. The most precious part of the week was that I got to celebrate a big birthday with my three children, their spouses, my ten grandchildren and the wife of one grandchild and the fiancee of another in such beautiful surroundings. Nineteen of us were all very comfortable in the two lovely houses. We all got to enjoy the outdoors, hiking, bike riding, sitting around a lovely fire outside in the evening and just being together. We even had a photographer come out and take family pictures in the lovely setting. It was one of our best family vacations.

Magical Wedding Weekend
I rented out Tingari Ranch as a place for my out of town guests to sleep while in town for my wedding. Despite the pouring rain, we had an amazing weekend. The covered patio saved the day allowing us to have a beautiful dinner outdoors while it rained outside. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen and living spaces were furnished and stocked with the highest quality furniture and appliances. We had every comfort both inside and out of the house. All our guests were impressed and wanted to return. When the sun did peak it's head out, we enjoyed the breathtaking natural surroundings. We hired a yoga teacher and had a class under the trees, which was one of the highlights of the weekend. I highly recommend Tingari Ranch. Mel and Dave were also great to work with and helped us sort out all the little details of our stay. We hope to return soon!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Tingari Ranch for our family reunion. It was secluded, quite, and very relaxing. Highly recommended for large group. Many activities to enjoy(kayaking, swimming, tennis, & volleyball). Ms. Mel is extremely professional and understanding in handling our request in a very expedient ways.

Ideal Reunion Venue!
We hosted a family reunion at the ranch and our expectations were exceeded at every level. The ranch is beautiful and secluded yet surprisingly accessible and loaded with activities and modern conveniences. We made especially good use of the pool, tennis court, creek, gourmet kitchen and all the various sitting areas. Our family photo was fantastic with the trees and creek as a backdrop. Tingari Ranch is a very special place that we hope to visit again soon. Thanks for the amazing hospitality!

Home away from Home!
Our Christmas week at Tingari Ranch was memorable for our family-three generations! We loved the peaceful and beautiful setting, the Texas vegetation, the birds and the creek, the chance to take walks without getting in the car and the lovely, comfortable, spacious houses. We cooked in the Ranch House, reveling in the well-appointed kitchen, and ate lunches on the porch with a view of the creek. We played volleyball and tennis, birded, boated and swam. Our sincere thanks.

Weekend Escapee
We took a group of 25 people to this beautiful ranch in Aug. 2011. Although it was 100 degrees outside the pool and river kept us nice and cool, and unlike other rentals I have dealt with, the AC in both houses worked well.
Great, secluded property with wonderful amenities and the houses came full stocked with high end cooking utensils, magazines, spices, plates and silverware.
The only downside was that the river was very low due to the record drought in Texas, and the owners warned us about that prior to booking.
Fully recommend this ranch for a family/friend/business retreat.

Awesome!
This ranch was perfect for a multi-family getaway. We had family members ranging from seniors to infant and all age groups enjoyed the weekend. Both houses had all the first-class amenities needed to have a comfortable stay and even more. A major grocery store is just 3 miles away which is very convenient. For the active and adventure seekers there were hiking, biking, swimming, tennis and volleyball. And for those who just wants to relax, there were the hammocks, a face-to-face swing, a porch swing or just hanging out at the patios (especially the second floor patio). The kids enjoyed the game room where there is a foosball table, air hockey and of course, a flat screen TV. We were not able to use creek side activities like fishing and the use of the paddle boat and kayaks (due to low-water level caused by the Texas drought) but we are hoping to use them on our future visit. Thank you for all the services that you and the caretakers have provided. You have definitely exceeded our expectations. This is what a vacation rental home is all about.

Quite, Serene, Comfortable, Modern!
I was part of the company retreat with Becky C.
This place was remarkable! We needed a location that we could get away and TEAM build. No distractions, no ringing phones...just a comfortable and serene location that we could all focus on our 2012 Action Plan! This place far exceeded our expectations, and we were able to accomplish our mission!
Since our retreat was more "business" driven, WiFi is provided on premise, and although the signal was weak the 2 days we were there, we easily overcame our need to gain email access, via my "Verizon 5 Spot".
A sizable kitchen, more than ample bedrooms and bathrooms for our needs, and a HOME-LIKE comfort that invites you to relax from the moment you step foot in the front door, set the perfect tone for our much needed TEAM building (new team members meeting for the first time) experience!
This location is a DEFINITE and EXCELLENT recommendation for any and all!

Tingari Ranch-the Perfect Corporate Retreat Place!
Our small food company spent 2 days at the Tingari Ranch. We were looking for a peaceful but modern getaway so we could spend concentrated time on our 2012 business planning. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating and the property - well, Incredible. It looks just like the photos, running creek/river (depending upon Texas weather). Modern kitchen and incredible bedding. We chose the small house alone which slept the 8 of us easily (2 chose to sleep on the hammocks by the creek, but had beds available). We held meetings by the shaded pool, had forecasting meetings with their big projector screen and our projector (boring), and had plenty of space on patios and well manicured lawns to meet and play.
Excellent spot for a small -medium business retreat... or a multi family week/weekend.
