This house is beautiful in the photos, but they don't quite do it justice. When we arrived we were thrilled with how clean and comfortable the house was. We had plenty of space for all of our guests (18 total) to spread out, have private time, or take part in any of the many activities and games the house has. There is a large ping pong table, pool table, tons of movies and board games, jukebox, not to mention the pool and hot tub, ample deck space, and the beach just a 5 min. walk away. All correspondence with the owners before we arrived, during, and after was very prompt and friendly. We paid for the extra linen service for our out of town guests and when we arrived there were plenty of extra towels, and linens all laid out for us in each bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked with every kind of appliance you might need. There is a second refrigerator on the lower level if you need extra space for large parties. We had an amazing week and will absolutely return for family reunions in the future!

We have stayed at numerous rental homes over the years and this was the best one yet! There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and we all enjoyed the game tables, pool and hot tub. We were pleasantly surprised to find the addition of a ping pong table! The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were all comfortable. It was a very short walk to the beach, which we were able to take advantage of everyday. Our group was happy to see the house was so well maintained and clean even late in the season.

The owner was great to work with and the family reunion was a great success. The home is very well equipped and had everything we needed for a much larger group. We liked Ray's recommendation for a local restaurant so much that we went back for a second visit. If we visit the area again, we will certainly return to this lovely home.

Nine adults, 4 teens, & an infant spent a MOST enjoyable Christmas week in this exceptional beach house. The landlord's impeccable attention to the design, cleanliness, and furnishings made this a very SPECIAL week for us ALL. We cooked, grilled, danced to the MANY jukebox tunes, played pool, shuffleboard, volleyball, looked for dolphin's on the 3rd floor, hot-tubbed, and "melted" into the leather sofas around the blazing gas fireplace. We were ALL content at home although plenty of attractions, movie theaters, stores are close by. Within a 10 minute drive, good restaurants & Walmart, for things you forgot to bring! As Murphy's Law dictates, strange things will happen & the "worst snowstorm in 50 years" did NOT panic us, but it was fun to see the VA residents boogy-boarding on snow-sand. When you visit be sure to stop in at some local delis, this time of year it's "crab legs, shrimp, & collards!" Hope to return.....CM

We came to va beach to attend the vavrs convention for the rescue squade as we do every year and this house was beautiful we had a great time here and hope that we can do it again in 2011 thanks agin
