My husband and I couldn't have made a better selection for our 25th Anniversary. This was our first visit to St. John and Iguana Inn certainly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, being greeted by our host at the ferry and brought to the house which was stocked with food essentials to get us started after a long flight...everything was perfect. This is in a very private location yet close to town. The views were spectacular. This home was very welcoming and comfortable. We were off exploring/snorkeling every day and looked forward to our return to Iguana Inn in the late afternoon for relaxation and gorgeous views. The evening breezes were cool enough so we never had to put on the AC. The house was well stocked with all the essentials - beach chairs, coolers, plenty of towels, etc. We look forward to returning to Iguana Inn!

I have stayed at several rental properties and resorts on St. John's over the past few years and the Iguana Inn has provided the most enjoyable experience as of yet. It has the ambiance of a quaint New Hampshire lodge with Caribbean flavor. Fully equipped kitchen and grilling areas leave your meal options open while the short drive to town enables visitors to wine and dine without lifting a finger. The two spacious bedrooms that face the sea to the south offer a grandiose view of beautiful sunrises and sunsets from start to finish. If you decide to stay at the Iguana Inn the back deck will surely become your favorite feature to this beautiful home. It is fully furnished and tiled with an outside dining table that seats six. Imagine yourself alongside a few good friends having your favorite cocktails in a deck-mounted hot tube unwinding after a long day at the most gorgeous beach in the world...the Iguana Inn has one and it's the best feeling in the world!!! If you are looking for an exciting yet relaxing once in a lifetime paradise get away, look no further, the Iguana Inn will fulfill your every desire and expectation.

We stayed at the Iguana Inn just two weeks ago, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. The internet representation of this property is realistically represented in the description and photographs. However, photographs alone cannot convey the beauty and ambiance of this lovely home. Nor can they relate the warm hospitality and helpfulness of its owners. This was our first, but not last, visit to St. John, a breathtakingly beautiful island. We were greeted by a lovely woman who gave us the lay of the land, assisted us with getting our rental car, and took us to the house. After a tiring trip, we were greeted with a bottle of local rum and a provisioned refrigerator! Being new to the island we didn't have the hassle of having to "forage" for food the moment we got there. This was such a big bonus for us! This beautiful home has everything you need for your comfort and enjoyment. The open air architecture, beautiful stonework, and tasteful appointments add to the island experience. In particular, you will find very comfortable beds, and fluffy towels. There's plenty of room for family gatherings in the main living area and a large deck with a panoramic view of the islands where you can enjoy the balmy breezes on high. You will find good restaurants, good food, and some nice shops when you aren't at the beautiful beaches snorkeling. The island is lush, green, and very tropical, and believe it or not, no flies!!! There are beautiful birds, and you will find the mongoose and iguanas quite entertaining...all adding to the island experience. The owners were very informative, friendly and answered all of my questions. Additionally, you will definitely require a rental car even though this property is only about 2 miles from town....The location is private but very conveniently located to everything. I highly recommend Varlack car rentals for reliable transportation. Our friends rented a car from another agency and their car broke down!

It's only been about a week since we left St. John, and I'm already longing to return. You can't go wrong with staying at the Iguana Inn!

My husband and I have stayed at the Iguana Inn several times--and each time we've found it a wonderful experience--from the charming, stylish and welcoming decor to the myriad little touches and conveniences provided by the equally warm and charming "Innkeeper" --Katie. The views from the bedroom(s), open-air living room and huge patio (which overhangs a picture postcard seascape view) are indescribable. The only conflict we experienced was the temptation to just stay "home" in lieu of the beach! Especially important to us was privacy and quiet and we were not disappointed! Surrounded by lovely tropical screening foliage, and perched just so with views of Chocolate Hole, the only sounds were those of the chirping tropical birds darting in and out of the feeder on the patio. We are world travellers, and have rented many, many homes around the world. This one is certainly in the top ten!

I've been visiting St. John for many years, usually in February and March. I've stayed in many different villas in various locations, and my all-time favorite is "Iquana Inn". I think of it as my private 'tree house' with the most breath-taking views, and more importantly I know I'm staying in a home that exudes the love of it's owner for all that is special about St. John. Iquana Inn has a soulfull personallity that always makes me smile. Of course, the only problem is I never want to leave. No photographs can do justice to the overwhelming beauty of the setting and the cozy 'lady-made' environment. This is a very special place !!!

I have travelled in the Caribbean extensively and Iguana Inn is at the top of my list of beautiful villas. The house has some of the most spectacular views around, including fantastic sunsets and watching the lights of cruise ships in the distance at night as they head toward St. Thomas. This home is decorated perfectly and extremely well maintained. It has a terrific kitchen, lots of nooks and crannies to hide away with a book, and a fantastic hot tub. Plus it's convenient to Cruz Bay. The icing on the cake is that it may be the best value on St. John.

Having stayed in many private rental homes over the past 25 yrs of visiting St. John, there is no where I would ever stay! From the moment you arrive you feel at once totally at home and and in a truly special island paradise. The beautiful architectural design of the home with custom stonework, arched doorways and water views from virtually every room combined with the comfortable furnishings and artwork throughout; this home truly has it all. Private yet close to town and beaches, the location is spectacular.
There is no where on St. John I would recommend as highly as Iguana Inn!
