This adorable home is nestled on Mt. Hebron with a breathtaking view of the Smokey Mts. The place is immaculate with extremely comfortable furnishings. The photos and the location description are accurate. My friends and I have stayed here at least 4 times in the last 3 years during every seasons; and during each visit, we have had a terrific time! There is so much to do closeby--hiking, visiting waterfalls, tubing, and rock-hopping for the outdoor enthusiasts. For those who love the arts, there are many interesting little museums featuring local artists and craftsmen. Throughout the surrounding small towns, there are many art and antique stores. We also attended Flat Rock Playhouse that is open most of the year with excellent plays. Attractions include The Biltmore (wow!), Carl Sandburg's home, Thomas Wolfe's home, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Grove Park Inn, and many other nearby attractions. There are also many great restaurants in Hendersonville and Asheville. Both are within 20-30 minutes of the property. If you just want to get away from it all, it is a wonderful place to curl up with a book and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the mountains. For a breathtaking day trip, we visitied Ben Long's frescoes at West Jefferson and Glendale Springs (a 3-hr. trip each way) through the Smokey Mts. Along the way, we stopped in Blowing Rock for shopping and wonderful meals. I would definitely recommend this property to my family and friends. The owners are extremely helpful and want their guests to have a fantastic time!
