Second stay at this amazing newly remodeled and modern cottage! All the luxuries of a fine home and more. I cannot emphasis more what a gorgeous, beautiful, and very well maintained luxury property this is. I have been going to Murphys for over ten years, stayed at numerous accommodations and I attest you will not find a better accommodation and in such a perfect location. Each time I stay here it is a fabulous relaxing delight and you’ll love it, guaranteed!

Also, this property is located very close to all the hotspots that Murghys and Calaveras County have to offer. Wine, wine tasting, caverns, hiking, sight seeing, fishing, skiing, amphitheater, first class dining, history, wildlife, nature and more. Even better, although located near all the hotspots, activities and sights you will still enjoy all the privacy and seclusion that the sierras have to offer. Located in Murphys most exclusive neighborhood this private estate offers the pleasure of enjoying a million dollar property without the million dollar price tag. Two for tasting, yes please!

This cottage is a hidden gem! Tucked away on a private road, it has so much to offer. It is very very clean and so cozy. We came up in early December to spend a fun weekend wine tasting with friends. It's just a 3 minute drive into town. The bed is super comfortable. We loved the hot tub too! Perfect for 2 people, when you want to get away. Dan and his wife are great to work with. Beautiful place, we can't wait to come back! Thanks again Dan!

I should give this place a poor review in order to keep others from renting it when I want it, but in all honesty the place is great. Dan was great to work with and even though most of our (outdoor) plans were "dampened" by the rains, the place provided comfortable/enjoyable accommodations.
The guest house is set back in a court, quiet and nice views of the trees and hillside.

We stayed at the cottage for a concert at Ironstone and couldn’t have been happier. It was a short 5 minute drive from the Cottage to Ironstone for the concert. The cottage is very well furnished throughout. The pictures really don’t do the place justice. The floor plan is very open and airy. The cottage really has an inviting feeling about it, just like being at home. The view is beautiful and the stars at night are just breath taking. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying and will definitely be back.

We stayed during a heat wave, temps were over 100. The AC worked great, however, and the local wines compensated for the heat outside. The cottage is very well equipped if you want to cook, bed is comfortable, as is the furniture. The owner/hosts were very gracious. We will be back.
