We use the cabin for family reunion, there were 7 of us all between ages 67 & 86 and we had a great time. Thanks to Superstorm Sandy we got to see some really great waves from safety of cabin. We just enjoyed playing games, eating and great conversations. The cabin has everything you need to have a great time.

GO PACKERS FAMILY TRIP

Our trip to Door County and "Packerland" was a surprise Father's Day gift for my husband. With my brother and his wife we spent a wonderful,relaxing week in this beautiful lakeside home. The Packers/Bears game was great but it didn't outshine the beautiful Wisconsin and Lake Michigan landscape, friendly communities and most importantly a lovely home with all the amenities needed for a restful, memory building vacation. The hospitality of this owner was evident from the first contact I made with her. Although we were born and raised in Wisconsin we have lived in Kentucky for 40 years. I was immediately impressed with Joanne and her warm invitation to enjoy her home and our trip to Wisconsin. We hope to go back again next year and do it all over again.

PERFECT!

My husband and I booked a weekend at Clar Lin Retreat as a last minute getaway. I had never booked a cabin from someone I didn't know, and was a little nervous about showing up to a dirty, smelly place. THERE WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. This home (cottage or cabin does not do it justice) is entirely new, impeccibly maintained and cared for, and very well appointed. All three bedrooms (2 queen, 1 twin) are comfortable and well-equipped. The great room is expansive and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher. Two full-sized bathrooms, plus a full sized laundry room make staying here easy. Top it all off with a beautiful view from the deck, screen porch, and great room, and you can't beat it. Staying here for two nights was such a stress reducer. We'll definitely be back. As an added bonus, our dog was welcome here. He had a great time chasing squirrels and snoozing in the sun. HEAVEN.

Thank you for renting your Clar Lin home to us August 27-30, 2012. We had a wonderful time in Door County. We enjoyed the views, water, wildlife, peace and quiet, and accommodations in your lovely home by Lake Michigan. I loved your skylights and the sound of the waves rolling in. It was a perfect vacation home for us and we could not ask for anything more except to come back again. We rode on the fire boat in Sturgeon Bay, toured many museums, ate at a lobster boil (absolutely delicious), sampled cheese and shopped, marveled at the lighthouses, dairy barns, went to a Packers game, and found many more things we would like to do but did not have enough time

We had a great time at Clar Lin Retreat. The cottage was gorgeous and well kept. We didnt have to go buy anything because she already had everything there that we needed!! Very nice place would def. reccommend!

My wife & I stayed at the beautiful home for a week. The home was was extremely clean & well appointed. The deck overlooking Lake Michigan is awesome and we had some very enjoyable meals in the screen porch overlooking the lake. The home is in a great area with easy access to Door County attractions and the quaint town of Algoma, which has a great beach. Eat at the Log Den Restaurant in Egg Harbor. The owners took 10 years to build it and it's something to see. Joanne was extremely easy and helpful to deal with. We would definately recommend staying in this home. It was one of the nicest we have stayed in.

We had an awesome stay at Clar Lin Retreat. The cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable, and had anything you could need. The views were fabulous and it was very relaxing and beautiful sitting on the deck looking out over the water and listening to the waves. The owner was great to work with and responded almost immediately to requests or questions. We will definitely be back!

No disappointments! Everything you could possibly imagine was here in this beautiful home. My granddaughter especially liked the little green chair and stool that she carried around! The daytime view of Lake Michigan was beautiful, and the nighttime viewing of the stars was breathtaking! Dead end road very convenient for leisurely walks... close enough to the shops up the peninsula too! Highly recommend this property!

We had a very enjoyable stay. House was beautiful with all amenities. Located on a private road with little traffic and quite secluded. Very nice place to stay. In between Green Bay and Door County, made traveling to either fairly quick. Thanks again.
