Welcome to Classico apartment.

Classico is one of Blustellarentals apartments (the other ones are Romantico ref.no.397454 and Antico Posto ref.no.392333).

The apartment newly refurbished consists of one dining/living room, two bedrooms , one bathroom and is located in an historical building overlooking the seventeenth-century Piazza Mazzini formerly known as “Piazza del Duca”. Classico apartment is on the second floor (out of three).

At the entrance behind the security door there is the kitchen/dining room : it has dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and four ceramic hobs. There is a table with four seats and a very comfy sofa. There is a ceiling fan providing a good circulation of air during summer.

Each bedroom has a double bed with a very spacious wardrobe and ceiling fans too. In one of the wardrobe there is a safe. One of the bedrooms is overlooking the Piazza Mazzini while the other has a window over Via Diaz.

The bathroom has shower, hairdryer and heated towel rail (linen and towels provided).

Heating is provided by a gas heater placed in the kitchen.

All in all the apartment is very bright; a palette of natural colours and a hint of British style are distinctive characteristics. It is particularly suitable for couples in their honeymoon or married couples with adult sons.

White furniture, sliding glass doors and ceramic hobs make this apartment not suitable for children of any age. (please kids are not allowed).

Wi-fi is available for guests and included in our rental fees.

In the apartment there are some fliers, maps of the town and a selection of books also in English about Como and its surroundings.

Weekly change of linen and towels is provided.

Parking place facility is provided on request (not included).

Finding free parking places in Como old town centre is quite impossible. Actually they are all with parking meters with coins. We can though provide secure parking place, which is quite close to the apartment ,at reasonable fares. Besides we provide shuttle service for your luggage from the parking lot to the apartment and vice versa (on request and included)

We loved the central location

Our stay in Como was very enjoyable made more pleasant by this well positioned, modern, spacious and light apartment.
We had clean directions on how to find the apartment from the station and contact with Giovani was easy and he was here to meet us and help us settle in.
The apartment worked well for us as two couples and we loved the central location for walking, day trips and shopping.
If there could be a negative it was the lack of any laundry facilities - machine, iron and ironing board.
We will be certain to recommend this apartment to others for future stays.

N.B. Self service laundromat can be found at Via Cadorna which is a 10-15 mins. walk NW of apartment outside city wall

The apartment is beautiful and extremely well equipped and presented.
The beds are very comfortable and all in all our expectations were exceeded.
Como , the lake and its surroundings are well worth a return visit and this apartment being so perfectly placed demands it .
Travel by train has been very straightforward and cheap and a trip to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix was memorable to say the least .
We very much appreciated being met by Giovanni on arrival and wish to say thank you for his service.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften urlaub hier in Como !
Giovanni hat uns herzlich empfangen und sich sehr gut um uns gekuemmert !
Als kleine vervousstandigung fuer die wohnung wuerden wir uns einen waeshestaender wuenschen .
Fuer einen ausfug an einen schoenen strand koennen wir euch Lenno empfehlen ( ca. 30 min Noerdlich) !

A lovely light, bright apartment with a very convenient setting! Even better than on the internet as the windows open to a piazza that is full of character.
Giovanni is a credit to the apartment, very warm welcoming and helpful. We loved the fact that all sorts of bits and pieces were provided in the kitchen and bathroom, and found the bed very comfortable.
We loved Lake Como and all its villages, would definitely stay here again.

Reality exceeded the expectation

Thank you for providing such a lovely apartment.
Usually pictures on th internet give a false impression of accomodation but in this case the reality exceeded the expectation.
We enjoyed our stay here thoroughly and would definitely return.
The only minor negative is the lack of laundry/ironing facility in the apartment.
We will recommend this apartment and if we are fortunate enough to return to Como we will definitely stay here again

We just wanted to say what a beautiful apartment this is. It is in a lovely area and so convenient to everything. We also appreciated being met at the apartment and the helpul information included in the book you left. Giovanni has been extremely helpful with a few problems. Our only suggestion would be adding a washing machine - we had great difficulty in locating a laundromat and when we found one it was quite a distance away and one we found was always closed.

A lovely warm welcome

It has been a privilege to be the first entry in the guest book and to have stayed (1week) in such a beautiful apartment. We have throughly enjoyed every moment. The apartment is one of the loveliest we have stayed in during our 10 weeks in Italia. We found it spotless, comfortable and very quiet. We have left a couple of suggestions with Giovanni. We would also like to say how important it was for us to be met and welcomed at the apartment on arrival (a lovely warm welcome). We enjoyed very much our morning macchiato at Bar Milano in our piazza and to meet the faboulous Roberto and Anna.
We have explored all of Como- so much to do and see-and if you are reasonably fit we recommend the walk down from Brunate and also walk to the Volta lighthouse from Brunate

The apartment was excellent and is saved on our favourites as we intend to return. We have told friends and family of the fantastic standard of not only the apartment but the warm welcome from the staff. My wife always brings cleaning items for accommodation we stay at but these were definitely not required whilst we where in Como.
