Amenities include central air conditioning and three TVs (one in each bedroom and one in the living room with a DVD/VCR player). A collection of some popular DVD/VCR tapes are provided, along with books and a game box with well liked games. Local phone calls are free. This is a NON-smoking condominium.
Kaanapali Shores is a beachfront resort. Guests experience a light and airy 1.5 story Lobby with several greeting areas to sit and relax. Comfortable Hawaiian decor and floral arrangements make the ambience inviting.
Resort amenities include a Poolside Restaurant with inside and outside seating, a health club, beauty salon, outdoor massage, convenience and Hawaiian gift shops, a floral shop, game room, a fitness center, an ATM, and many other resources. Concierge service is also available.

From the Kaanapali Shores beach looking northwest toward the Island of Molokai across the Pailolo channel, or looking southwest toward the island of Lanai across the Auau channel, guests can have a nice view of the Humpback whales during their spawning season.

Gonzaga, Syracuse, California, Minnesota, Baylor, Arkansas, Dayton and host Chaminade University of Honolulu are the scheduled teams for the 28th edition of the nation's premier early-season college basketball tournament. Our condo is near the tournament for your lodging and enjoyment of NCAA Basketball on Maui.
For golf,the PGA Hyundai Classic at the Plantation Course in Kapalua is just up the road, and is in January.

** Security Deposit A deposit of $500.00 with Personal Check, Cashier's Check, Money Order or Visa or
Master Credit Cards (reservation is not confirmed until deposit or rental payment is received). This is used in the event of
any damage occurring with a guest's visit. It is separate from
the rentfor Check payments and if you pay by Credit Card your total rental payment will be deducted
the security deposit
Refundable Security Deposit will be refunded within 30 days after guests leave, if all is in order after departure (no damage no missing items).
Full Rental Payment is due 60 days prior to arrival. Payments can be made by Money Order, Cashier's Check or Personal Check or Visa and Master Credit Card.
C A N C E L L A T I O N S:
An administration fee of $250.00 will be charged for cancellation.
Cancellations If necessary, it is required 60 days or more prior to scheduled arrival date. If cancellations are made less than the 60 days prior to scheduled arrival or after scheduled arrival date, payments will be retained. If the unit can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued less the administration fee of $250.00.
Cancellations due to an exceptional circumstance will not be charged for such as: Tsunami, eartquake, hurricane, airport closure because of a bad weather conditions.
Hawaiian Tax Transient and G.E. taxes of 13.42% must be included with your payment
Parking: To park inside the gated Kaanapali Shores complex, a parking fee of $9.00/day is charged at the Gate. Make arrangements at Front Desk.
We do not provide daily maid service to allow you complete freedom, privacy and secure feeling like a home away from home. The condo is rented on a do-it-yourself basis. The condo will be clean when you arrive and it will be cleaned after you leave.

Dan, Sri, and Jasmine O'Brien
Dan grew up in New Jersey, graduated from Villanova University, and retired from Hewlett Packard in Santa Rosa, Ca. Sri grew up on the island of Java in Indonesia. We met in Jakarta, where Sri was in the hotel industry. Jasmine is our daughter and is 11 years old. she is an Honors student at Seabury Hall, and very good swimmer on the Hawaiian Swimming Club (HSC). We have lived on Maui since 2003. Jasmine won 7 of her 8 events in the Hawaiian State Age Group Swimming Championships, and also the 100 Back and 200 Free at the recent Zone Championships in Colorado.
Ka'anapali Shores is a front beach resort, the beach is just right on front of the complex and it is just step away from the unit, centraly located to anywhere in West Maui. A corner and ground floor unit is very convenience. West side is considered the Leeward sides and sunny most of he year. They get rain a few months in the winter. Average daily high temperature is in the 80's F everyday of the year.
Beautiful beaches, most uncrowed. Weather is usually great. Restaurants and many activities.
