Great Location

We were visiting NYC to see my brother who is going to college in the area and found this 1 bedroom. It was a great price, the people we communicated with were very responsive and flexible, as our bags where delayed, therefor delaying our check in. Great location, convenient to the grocery store, subways, easy walk to fun activities and food: Spin (ping pong bar), Eatily (Italian), and Madison Square park and the Shake Shack!!! Easy to get to Time Square, Little Italy, China Town etc. We walked a lot and it was easy to get everywhere from this location.

The only warning I would have is that they said they did not provide toiletries, however I didn't understand that to be TOILET PAPER, which I thought was odd and a waste that I had to purchase a 4 pack of toilet paper I couldn't use all of while I was there. I also thought it odd that there was no dish soap to wash and maintain their dishes with, which seems in the owners best interest. Finally no TRASH BAGS were provided, which again I would think would be in there best interest by allowing the renter to keep their trash can clean. We also could have used with a few more pieces of bedding. The 2 people on the couch ended up using decorative pillows because there were no extra ones, just the ones on the main bed. There was also just one light blanket for the pull out couch. It was very cold while we were in NYC, and the people sleeping on the couch had to either bundle up or turn the heat way up due to the lack of bedding. It was great that they provided a blow up mattress, however I am glad we didn't need it because there were no sheets or blankets for that anyway.

Overall it was a great experience, but be ware that you will need to purchase a few extra's at the grocery store if you decide to stay here. I would recommend it to anyone though. Good location, quiet neighborhood, the building was well kept and we felt very safe.

Wonderful alternative to hotels

We were three women who stayed in this property for a week and found it convenient to sites, the subway, and lots of nearby food options. It was great to have a kitchen for breakfast and leftovers. Both kitchen and bathroom were modern and very functional and the apartment was very clean. Daniel and Pierce were wonderful communicators and willing to be flexible about arrival time - we really appreciated that. The area was quiet and we felt very safe.We traveled to sites all over Manhattan and transportation options were nearby and convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable apartment

Pierce and Daniel were very easy to work with which is helpful when coming from out of town. The apartment was clean and maintained. Very quiet, which is a nice change from staying uptown at hotels. The area is fantastic and so many good places to eat nearby-which fortunately included Shake Shack!
Being able to easily access the subway was also great. This made it very easy to get around.
We will definitely come back again.
My one suggestion would be to have a broom available since dirt/leaves along with cookie crumbs from all the bakeries we frequented were tracked around on the floor. It would have been nice to clean up.

Great stay in NYC!

My wife and I took a vacation from TX to NYC and wanted to stay in an apartment instead of a hotel. We could not have asked for anything better. The location, comfort, furnishings of this apartment were all first class. Pierce and Daniel were great help and very accommodating. I am a light sleeper and the back bedroom was more than quite enough, even with a big event going on down the street! We took the subway everywhere and saw everything we wanted to see from the 9/11 Memorial, to Museums, Plays, and a Yankees game. While we mostly ate out, there were a couple of grocery stores nearby for essentials. The only thing I would ask for would be just a couple more cooking utensils for that “stay in” night when you want to cook your own dinner.….. Though it is hard to want to cook with all the great NYC restaurants!

Start Spreading the News! Great NYC place

Pierce and Daniel did a great job of accommodating our schedule and making our stay enjoyable. The apartment is in a terrific location, close to subways and walking distance to Times Square. The kitchen, while small, has a great gas stove with a griddle. The bed was comfortable, and the towels were large, fluffy and numerous. We were a party of three and found the unit very comfortable for us. We saved lots of money, not only on the nightly room rates, but also by being able to have breakfast, and a few other meals in the unit. This is a great way to enjoy New York without busting the budget.

Great price in a great location!

We were originally looking for places to stay in surrounding communities because we thought we could not afford to stay right in the city. We were thrilled when we found this apartment. It was in a great location...within walking distance to almost everything that we wanted to do and see. Quite honestly, we spent very little time in the apartment, but it was nice to come back after a long day of walking and sight-seeing, and relax on the couch and watch a little TV before going to bed. The apartment was very clean and had everything that we needed; the kitchen was especially nice; and the owner, Daniel, responded quickly to any questions or needs that we had. We felt safe in the area, even when walking home after dark. There was a nice size grocery store that was just down the block and around the corner and restaurants everywhere. Being able to stay in the city made all the difference to our New York City experience!

We loved our stay in this apartment. Very clean, very modern, very safe building, comfortable bed, and the location just cannot be beat. The owner gladly accomodated our early arrival, and was very easy to communicate with. I'm bookmarking this place for our next trip to NYC! Thanks so much for having us!

Great Apartment and Location

The apartment is quite nice and newly furnished. Location is outstanding with easy walking access to dozens of restaurants of all kinds including Curry Hill (a play on the nearby "Murray Hill" that refers to the strip of excellent Indian restaurants that runs for many blocks on Lexington Avenue).

A number of subway/metro lines are within easy walking distance from the apartment, giving easy access to all of Manhattan. Even the High Line park on the West Side was walkable (about 30 minutes).

The owner was extremely nice and helpful.

Surpassed expectation

I originally inquired for one of this owner's other apartments and was advised on a 1 bedroom apartment that they also had available from the same owner; being that we were a group of 4 people, I did not know how feasible that would be. Turned out the apartment was exactly what we needed. Quiet, CLEAN, and gorgeous. The owner was a delight and greeted my group well passed midnight when we arrived. My deposit was returned within 2 days of my departure (one of my original concerns).

The apartment's close vicinity to the attraction while being in a residential area is what really separated this unit from other apartments we stayed in while in NYC. The peace and quiet was really priceless. There also was a supermarket right around the corner. The linens and towels were better than some of the hotels I have stayed in - you really can see the attention to detail when you arrive.

The apartment was a fantastic value and I definitely plan to stay here again. Thank you!
