Winters at Beaver Creek are what has given this resort its popularity. The snow is often times referred to as powder. It is soft yet compact and the crunch that it makes under your snow boots when you walk on it, reminds you that this is great snow to ski on! The mountain is groomed daily, the staff is knowledgeable, and the locals are friendly. Convenience is key at Beaver Creek, making it one of the best places to have a winter vacation with the entire family. At night enjoy dinner at some of the finest restaurants and afterwards make smores at one of the outdoor fire pits. In the village enjoys the many boutique shops, ice skating and the many events year round.

Our family has been visiting Colorado for over 18 years. After skiing at different resorts, we found our favorite spot - Beaver Creek. With pristine surroundings, this location is beautiful. Our daughters have enjoyed and excellent ski school. We've created many memories and hope to call this area our second home for a long time to come.
This unit has the spaciousness that one hopes for when traveling and the residential building is maintained in excellent condition . The second bedroom is big enough to hold not one, but two queen size beds. The master bedroom has one king size bed. With three bathrooms, getting ready each morning is quick and easy. The unit's balcony allows us to step out and enjoy the mountain view without having to leave the building. But if we do need to leave to ski, the buildings ski-in/ski-out access to the Strawberry Park Lift is a great plus. Having our own assigned ski lockers in the buildings separate ski room on the same floor keeps the mess out of the house. And if we are not quite ready to go sit by the fireplace, we can take a dip in the indoor/outdoor pool or relax in the steam room. What more could we ask for? When we saw the unit we were sold!
I loved everything about the split plan layout of this unit, but fell in love with all that surrounds the area.
Summer reveals so many shades of green that I never new existed! There are many lakes, rivers and creeks to hike to, relax by or white water raft in. Taking a motorcycle ride through winding mountain roads, visiting small towns, and feeling the cool mountain air is an unbeatable experience. There are ghost towns with prairie dogs to visit. There are hot springs and old cowboy western legends to learn about. At the rodeos mutton busting is is well worth seeing. You can zip line, pan for gold, visit a cavern or a mine, or even paraglide. Just hiking to unique destinations, like Hanging Lake, is enough to leave you wanting more of Colorado summers.
Winters don't fall behind. Snow crunches underneath your boots making a distinct sound that skiers can appreciate. When the snow is freshly fallen, the cold powder between your hands is invigorating! There are many beautiful trails with plenty of 'blues' for beginners and some really nice 'blacks' for those that like a challenging run. With private instruction, the opportunities for other experiences, such as heli skiing, are many. But it's not just about snowboarding or skiing. Winters can also be great for snowmobiling, ice fishing, a snowball fight, and hot chocolate by fire. Dinner time is a great evening excuse to explore fine dining and creative eating nicely suited for those with a refined palate. Many specialties are available and prepared in authentic Colorado fashion.
My list of unique benefits can go on for ever. If you need additional ideas of this to do or places to visit, please contact me when booking your stay.
