Local Attractions: Wallis Sands Beach is the northernmost beach on the New Hampshire coast line, however just 1.5 miles north is Odiorne Point and the Seacoast Science Center. This state park facility offers a large playground, hiking trails, tide pools, and a learning facility with exhibits that appeal to all ages. A short 5-mile drive will take you into downtown Portsmouth, NH where you can enjoy theater events, fabulous bars and restaurants, historic sites and tours, and plenty of local and tax-free shopping! Just over the Piscataqua River bridge from Portsmouth is Kittery, ME where outlets abound! Going south along route 1A, you can take any number of whale watch tours or trips out to the Isle of Shoals. Surf Board and Kayak Rentals and lessons and Water Slide Theme Park are all with 12 miles from the property.
