Our family of 4 rented this condo for 8 nights during March 2013. This was our first visit to Costa Rica and we could not have been more satisfied with both the accommodations and the property managers Stephanie & John.
First the Property
The condo amenities and cleanliness was exactly as we had anticipated. Condo was well appointed and well maintained; overall excellent
The condo grounds are secure and well maintained. Any questions to either the security or grounds crew were immediately addressed. Pool and common areas were constantly being attended to by the grounds staff; overall excellent
The condo location, near the north end of Jaco beach worked well for us. Far enough away from the busier parts of the beach, yet close enough to town that taxis were seldom necessary. Great views and sunsets from the upper deck level; overall excellent
Property Managers
Stephanie & John provide excellent communication and quickly answered all of our questions ahead of our rental; not only about the condo rental but general travel questions about visiting Costa Rica. All responses were timely and professional; overall excellent
Stephanie & John met us at the condo check-in (even though our flight was delayed 2 hours) and provided a warm welcome to 4 very tried travelers. Stephanie & John took the time to explain the condo features including a tour of the grounds. Stephanie & John even gave us a lift to the grocery store to pick-up some quick necessities....both are genuinely nice people and made us feel at ease about our choice to rent at Bahia Encantada.
Stephanie & John arranged for transportation to and from San Jose airport with their recommended drive Geo. Geo was very dependable, pleasant and trust worthy and excellent ambassador for Costa Rican hospitality.
Our first visit to Costa Rica and Bahia Encantada will hopefully not be our last. I would not have any hesitation recommending this rental condo to any of my friends or family. Thanks again Stephanie & John for the great stay and hospitality.

Our group has stayed in various condos in the Jaco Beach – Los Suenos area for the last eight years. We have found these two condos (H-5 and G-5) to be the best we have rented.

The units were very well kept and supplied with all the necessary amenities. The pools, grounds and beaches were exceptionally clean and inviting. The property managers were great and looked after every detail to ensure that we had a good time during our stay. From this location we were able to enjoy everything there is to do in the area, from some of
the best fishing in the world, to surfing, canopy tours, ATV riding in the mountains - and of course, the wonderful people of Costa Rica.

I encourage anyone wanting to stay at the Bahia Encantada Resort Condos in CR to book either of these units. They will definitely have a wonderful time. 5 Stars!

I need to start by saying WOW!!! What a great trip. Kingdom Condo's did a great job booking my stay and helped me with every part of my trip. Stephanie and John the property managers were nothing less than professional. Being residents of Costa Rico, Stephanie and John know all the in and outs of the country and were a wealth of knowledge. They told us about local customs and great sight seeing areas of this beautiful country. If you are thinking about taking a trip to Costa Rico, call Kingdom Condo's, they will do whatever is necessary to ensure you have great trip.

Stay away. First you have to go through a dual check-in, with Stephanie at the condo and with Daystar at a location in town. At Daystar they attach a wristband on everyone and say we have to keep them on for a few of days until the staff remember us. You look silly wearing the wristband and it's lousy security. From day one we had very low water pressure for weak drizzle showers and no baths. Having a rare bathtub in this condo is touted in the listing. We didn't want to sit on the toilet for 30 minutes waiting for the large bathtub to fill. When Stephanie came to check out the problem, that was her solution. Other victims of the low water pressure were the master toilet and the toilet between the two secondary bedrooms. We had to use the hall bathroom toilet. The toilet paper was also a low grade brown toilet paper. The Internet only worked without fail the first day we arrived. After that it was always sporadic. The wireless signal was very weak. The refrigerator had water pooling on the shelves. This wasn't a big problem. Stephanie thought she fixed the problem by adjusting the thermostat level from 1 to 2. That didn't fix anything. Our second day someone from Daystar called and asked if there were any problems. For the water pressure and Internet they said they were aware to the problems and were working on them. They didn't show up to do anything about the pooling water in the refrigerator and the other problems only got worse. There is no DVD player for the main, large TV. The DVD player is in a secondary bedroom in a very small TV. This is not what you expect when you see DVD player as a feature. We stayed four nights. The last two nights,Thurs. and Fri., there was very loud music with heavy bass until past Midnight coming from a bar next to the complex. While the complex is not responsible for the music, it is still something you have to live with. A sleep cellphone app couldn't drown out the music. I avoid doing any reviews unless a stay is exceptional. I also avoid giving any negative reviews. In this case, I'm making an exception. Stephanie's greedy response to me cutting my stay short by one day motivated me. I made this reservation the same day I arrived. As last minute as it comes. The 5 days rent Stephanie collected from me was like found money and yet she refused to credit me for the last day I didn't stay. Most people would be happy collecting for 4 days that they otherwise would not have, especially when it's a sub-standard condo.

What can I say? This place is the Best! Beautiful complex right on the beach. Penthouse condo with rooftop balcony.... unbelievable. We spent our days relaxing at the pool and ours nights enjoying the restaurants and nightlife of Jaco. Went fishing one day and caught and released 4 sailfish and 1 blue marlin. We will definitely be back. Thanks John and Stephanie for the hospitality.

We arrived on a friday afternoon and were picked up at the airport by Geo. Geo took us to Jaco beach and on the way stopped to get us some food and drinks and told us all of the places we should hang out and eat at in Jaco. When we arrived in Jaco we were greeted by John and Stephanie immediately. They gave us the tour of our condo, which was great, and then they reccomended several places for us to visit while we were in Jaco. The first night we were there we walked right out of the back of the condo complex to the beach and 20 yards down the beach to Clarita's for dinner. The next morning one of my friends and I walked in to town to get breakfast for everyone and then caught a $1.50 cab ride back with all of our groceries. FYI, with six people we never paid more than $2 for a cab ride anywhere in Jaco. While we were in Jaco, we booked two tours with Daystar to ride four wheelers and do a zip line tour. Both tours were excellent. I would reccomend the Bahia encantada to anyone. Our trip was great and the condo was clean, nice, and new. I hope you get to enjoy a great time like we had. Pura Vida.
