Wonderful canal front home with ocean views and a new boat lift! This house has everything you need including ice-cold air conditioning to enjoy your time on Key Allegro. Wi-Fi and cable TV keeps you connected while you are on vacation.

The large Master Bedroom has a king size bed and a private bath with a large walk-in closet. 2 more bedrooms upstairs each sleep 2 comfortably in queen sized beds. They are connected by a large Hollywood full bath.

Bright and spacious living room upstairs with 20' ceilings and skylights anchors the open floor plan. View the canal and ocean beyond from the dining area and kitchen window. Covered out door deck gets wonderful shade and ocean breezes all afternoon long - the owner's favorite place to read in the afternoon.

Downstairs den looks out to another deck and canal. 10 steps take you to the edge of the canal and the fishing dock. This property has an unusually large lot with over 90' of canal frontage. Plenty of additional sleeping area downstairs - a great bunk area for the kids. Back bedroom sleeps 3 in single bunk beds. Den has bunk beds and a full bed that sleep 2 people each. Another full bathroom is downstairs as well as a laundry room with washer and dryer and a 2 car garage.

This was a fantastic weekend getaway for my brothers, me, my son and my grandson. Excellent fishing trip was able to dock my boat there and go out when we wanted. Just an awesome time. We will for sure be coming back to stay at one of your homes for sure. Beautiful area, beautiful home and just all the necessities needed to make a fun filled weekend. We will be back for another family getaway.

We saw dolphins!

It was very exciting. We saw several dolphins swim down the canal from the back deck of "Serenity House." The children all screamed in excitement as the dolphins swam by. Had a great time all week in the house, loved the nautical decor. Beds were very comfortable, house was very clean when we checked in. The kids were really excited as they caught several fish off the private dock. Would definitely come back again.

House was clean. Plenty of room for all the family loved the location. beds very comfortable. Kitchen needs a few more amenties for cooking full meals.. No can opener or potato peeler. Love Rockport and Krey Allegro . will seriously consider coming back Thanks so much!!!!

Overall nice home, but BE PREPARED!

Staying at Serenity House was overall a good experience and a very nice house, but beware! We got in at the prescribed "check-in" time, but the house had not been cleaned from the previous visitors. So we made some calls, and after some delay a cleaning crew got to work, moving our stuff from one room to the next, so they could make the house nice. Talk about a STRESSFUL way to start your family vacation- over two hours of sitting there, unpacked, while a big group of strangers walk around cleaning up the place. There were a few additional issues other than the cleaning mix-up, We were short on towels, not everyone got their own bath towel and we needed kitchen towels. Also, we killed 4 or more live roaches inside. It was a nice house other than that stuff, and good for the money, but our experience could have been much better. Also, the "washer and dryer" was not available to use, it was FULL of the linens from the previous renters. The owners were apologetic about our experience, but we still had to pay the full cleaning fee, even with the big headache at the beginning, so you might want to discuss that before signing the contract.
Owner's Response: We love our home on Key Allegro and enjoy sharing it with the many families who rent it throughout the year. It is a great property for a large family or a group of friends and usually our guests check in to find our home in great condition.

Unfortunately a terrible scheduling mistake by the cleaning service resulted in John & his family arriving late Friday afternoon to our home not being cleaned for them. John called me and I immediately made arrangments for a large cleaning crew to come in and thoroughly clean the house and they did so within a half hour of my being notified of the problem.

John's wife who organized the rental later emailed... "We enjoyed our family vacation at your house in Rockport. It was overall a great experience and a very nice house. Thanks for making it available to rent..." by Dana V. on 8/5/2010.

My husband & I completely understand the stress this caused John, Dana, and family, but were glad they were able to enjoy the rest of their stay at our home.
