Photos and Description of the San Francisco vacation apartment rental
Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-3)

This newly decorated, Pacific Heights apartment is located on a flat block in the heart of shops and parks in the center of San Francisco. It is brightly lit and features a full kitchen and bath with new appliances.

Situated in a spacious re-modeled modern 1895 Victorian (VRBO # 301325) this lovely pied-a-terre has use of the back garden and windows that open onto the front deck. The space includes two private entrances, a Queen bed and a modern couch that folds down to a double bed separated by a Shoji screen. There are two Eames chairs and contemporary touches throughout. Gas stove, refrigerator and dishwasher are all brand new.

Close to Fillmore Street shops, restaurants and Alta Plaza Park (off-leash dog park), the apartment is located in a family neighborhood one mile away from Fisherman's Wharf, downtown, the Mission, and Ocean Beach. Nob Hill can be accessed simply by walking, driving or taking public transportation straight down the street. Ample parking is available on the block. A bus in front of house goes to the beach or downtown.

There is access to Presidio gym and public transportation--bus and taxis--outside front door. A deli (with Blue Bottle coffee) and restaurants that serve till midnight are located at the corner. There is a large grocery store three blocks away.

The apartment includes wide-screen, HD television, wii-fi Internet access, a gas stove, a microwave, and a fire-burning heater.

The owner is a native San Franciscan and can help you with any travel arrangements or special needs you may have.

All we can say is WOW.

We have been on trips to New York, Portland, and many to San Francisco in our young marriage. This was the first time doing the non-hotel route for lodging and it was the best vacation lodging EXPIERENCE we have had BY FAR. We were looking for something less "touristy" and more of a real city expierence... And it delivered. Pacific Heights is one of the best real San Fran neighborhoods and this property is right at it. The location was what appealed to us and it only got better after our interest email. Brooke was amazing to work with and accommodating in helping us make this trip happen. The apartment was cleaned to perfection ready exactly when we were promised. The location was incredible and it being just blocks from the best pizza on earth (Pizzeria Delfina) was just icing on the cake. Honestly, if you we're to ask us if we would stay here again, we would answer, is anything else an option.

Thank you Brooke for helping make this an amazing 1 year wedding anniversary.. We are hoping this is the first stay of many.

Our family stay at the property worked relative to layout and location. Amenities and fundamentals were all good. Unit was unusually familiar as it was obviously regularly occupied by owner or owner family. Downside was typical of most basement Victorian home. Sound transmits and our stay to visit grandchildren was marred by all night partiers upstairs 2 of 7 nights. Owner was non-resident and out of town leaving us to fend for ourselves with the inconsiderate adults above. We chose to flee to hotel two nights. Owner did provide a stipend with deposit return to cover pain and aggravation. Our tip to renters in SF, rent upstairs units when you can. Or call 911 when you need to.

Owner's Response: Quiet enjoyment is requested of the premise upstairs and unfortunately I was out of town and could not intervene.

A truly perfect place for short or long stays in the Bay Area. I was there for ten days and didn't have one uncomfortable or challenging moment in the apartment. Close to Fillmore and Divisadero Streets, both packed with restaurants, cafes, and shops, and also to the wonderful Japantown, the location is ideal. Highly recommended.

We stayed in this beautiful rental for our second anniversary and had the BEST time! This was the perfect location for us as it was close to Fillmore Street and was super convenient to the bus lines so we could explore the city! We would recommend this to anyone staying in San Francisco! We will certainly stay here again when we go back!

My husband and I spent a week in this apartment for our 10th anniversary. It was a lovely place for us to rest and relax after very long days of sight seeing. The location was perfect, not too close to the hubbub of downtown or touristy areas, but with excellent transit access. I highly recommend the MUNI passes for a visit to San Francisco.
The apartment was very clean and well equipped. We very much enjoyed our breakfasts on the front patio. We were fortunate to meet our hostess, who was a pleasure to deal with.
This apartment comes very well recommended.

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights here with our college age daughter over spring break (and our 3 pound chihuahua). Unit is just as it appears in the photos and is a wonderful location in SF. Pacific Heights is a great neighborhood and it's just a few blocks walk to the Fillmore restaurants/shops - we ate out every night at a great place. Brooke was great - very easy to work and very accommodating to some special requests we have. I highly recommend this place
