This place is a real charmer! It is a beautiful and comfortable bungalow style home with cozy and interesting furnishings inside and lush landscaping outside front to back. There was plenty of space for our two family party of four adults and four children, who all had a great time here. Our kids either spent their time playing inside with the cute playroom and toys that were provided or in the spacious backyard running around and riding the scooters, four of them, (just our luck!) that were on the back patio. Even after each day at Disneyland they came home and either played inside, rode the scooters in the large backyard area, or roasted marshmallows around the fire pit at night. In fact, my wife made me promise that the next time we come here we will spend more time just relaxing around the house so she doesn't, "need a vacation after her vacation." All in all, I would highly recommend staying here, and enjoying what this historic charmer has to offer.

Amazing!

I rented this beautiful home for our daughter's wedding at Disneyland! It was all that I could have hoped for and more...this house lacks nothing; absolutely everything you could want in the kitchen, plenty of linens and the towels were so big and fluffy we joked that we could wrap them around ourselves three times! Kandee was an amazing hostess and we are looking forward to going back again soon to enjoy the new fire pit in the backyard!

Wonderful Anaheim Stay

After a long drive from San Diego it was pleasure to be welcomed to the house by the enthusiastic Kandee and shown around the spacious and immaculate property, explaining everything we needed to know. We were amazed by the attention to detail in the historical elements, lovely decor and landscaping, and the modern comforts.
We particularly appreciated the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and the helpful tourist information. We and our children, 7 and 4, loved the bocce court, the extensive DVD collection and toy collection.
The children were up early every day playing in the play room, before heading off to Disneyland, only a few minutes drive away, and then were able to watch the fireworks in their PJ's from the comfort of the play room window in the evening.
The location was close to the freeway but still quiet and peaceful.
Kandee and Art happened to be in residence in their adjoining guesthouse so we were fortunate to have the benefit of their helpful hints and assistance throughout the stay. We were blown away when Kandee even brought home some new scooters and helmets for the kids to use during our visit.
Aside from Disneyland and Universal Studios, we made a very enjoyable visit to the gorgeous Laguna Beach and Pacific Marine Mammal Center (sea lion rescue), neither of which we would have considered without Kandee's recommendations and Orange County brochures.
Thank you to Kandee and Art for your warmth, generosity and hospitality.
Everything ran smoothly, right from the time of booking, to all of the email and phone communications, and the stay itself- a credit to Kandee's excellent organisational skills.
We will certainly be recommending your "home away from home" in Anaheim to our other relatives and friends from Australia.

Perfect Home away Home!!!

I am afraid I can explain enough on how beautiful and comfortable and entertaining the house was! It was super clean and equipped with everything we could have needed during our stay including high performance appliances, super comfortable beds, beautiful bath rooms, huge back yard with Bocca ball court and pretty plants including a juicy lemon tree, all the toys kids love to play and many more!! They even went out to get new Wii games and remotes that were age appropriate to my kids as well as scooters and helmets!! We also enjoyed S'mores in the back yard fire pit that was also brought by Kandee, the sweetest owner I've ever met. We didn't mind standing on line in Disney as we knew that we could go home and rest after the busy days. We also went out to Carlsbad Flower Ranch with their Flower Fields in full bloom. We enjoyed our California vacation very much, but best of all were the house and Kandee & her husband!!! Thank you very much and we would love to come back!!!

Fantastic!

This was our first time renting a house and it was a great experience! Kandee met us upon arrival and had a birthday banner and a Mickey & Minnie birthday cake waiting on the table for my kids. Anything we needed we just had to ask! We had to alter out travel pland while there and she was able to let us stay an extra day which was fantastic. The house is so close to Disneyland that it was easy to come back to the house during the day so the kids could take naps. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there, even a drawer full of kids dishes, cups, and silverware. The kids loved the toy room and all the dress up clothes. We got to use the bocce ball court and the firepit which was such a special treat. Kandee even had a basketful of s'mores goodies by the back door ready and waiting upon arrival. The master suite upstairs is so spacious and comfy. I also loved that she had a toddler bed for my 2 year old and a sit n stand stroller to use in the park. The house was fresh and clean and just felt so "homey". I would recommend this house to anyone headed to the Anaheim area!

Five Star Disneyland Vacation Stay

Upon arrival we were met by the owner, Kandee. She gave us the key and took us through the house showing us how the appliances worked and explaining what was there for us to use. This is a beautifully decorated home that has all the conveniences you could ask for. There is a large front loading washer and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with cook and bakeware, microwave, gas stove, toaster, double door refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal and automatic K-cup coffee system with coffee pods included. Kandee told us we should look through the cupboards and refrigerator before we went grocery shopping as much of what we might need is already there (left by other renters) such as; baking supplies, spices, sugar, cleaning supplies, laundry soap, dish washing soap, jam, salad dressing, mustard and the like and even a bottle of Champagne. Bathrooms were stocked with towels and wash clothes for adults and children , first aid supplies, baby wash and shampoo, adult body wash and shampoo and rinse, hand soap, hair dryer, air freshener, wet ones, bath toys and step stool for kids.
There are two bedrooms down stairs and a complete master suit upstairs which has it's own TV and is very quiet. The beds are very comfortable. There is a room off the front room used as a office/playroom. It has a piano, desk, wireless internet and printer and lots of toys and dress up clothes for the kids. The front room has a fireplace and large TV with cable and on Demand and a DVD player with many DVDs both for children and adults.
The back yard is lovely with large outside table and chairs, gas BBQ, sand area, outside burning pit, extra chairs, two water features and trucks and ride on toys for kids.
There is a Ruby's Diner at the end of the block and is within a mile or so of Disneyland. The neighborhood is very quiet with little traffic. We absolutely loved and enjoyed this rental. We will want to use it again. Thank you for opening your home for us. We did feel right at home! Did I mention this is such a Beautiful Home!!!!!!

Amazing people

This is one of my most favorite part of our trip, very close to Disneyland, and mintues to Knotts, easy to the interstate. The home owners are very nice and go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful time. Kandee went out and bought a storller so that we had something to use and didnt have worry about bringing one on the plane. We are from Canada so the less we had to bring was great!! She had everything for my kids!! Toys, crib, high chair and even children cups and bowls, very useful. She had the place very tidy and nicely put together with unqiue decor, I LOVE IT!! She also had made my daughter a brithday cake that was very yummy and bought her a gift!!! That ment so much to my daughter that when we went home and she had to inform her class mates on her trip she had to tell them all about that her teacher said it sounded like a nice place, and wanted the info so the next time her famliy goes they'll look into this place. I highly recommed that if you and your famliy are looking for a place to stay it should be this place!!! Thank you

A Dream Come True

Wow!!! Absolutely gorgeous, a home away from home, that's how we felt about this wonderful home. What a way to spend our first trip to America staying in a home....not a house. This home surpasses all expectations, from the moment you arrive everything is ready and waiting, from the inside to the outside, unique little items kept us "oohing and aahing" - from the Jiminy Cricket plush toy sitting on the piano, the Disney memorabilia throughout the house, to the ever comfy rocking chair and signs in the bathtub garden beds. The spotless condition of the house, the quality of furniture, kitchen appliances, linen etc, to the games and selection of DVD's, the toys available for the kids, barbecue facilities and the impressive red Washer/Dryer, to the size of the house is all incredible. Everything has been thought of to make your stay very comfortable including a folder put together of attractions and activities available to do and an array of menu's from local restaurants for those times when you don't feel like cooking.
This home was more than spacious enough for our family of six (3 adults, 1 teenager and 2 year old twins), it is situated in a lovely and quiet area, close to shops and most importantly only a 5 minute drive from Disneyland. It is a real credit to the warm, friendly, nothing was too much trouble owners Kandee and Art. It was a childhood dream to visit Disneyland, and seems like a dream that we stayed in such a superb home.
Thank you Kandee and Art for making our visit to Anaheim amazing, for your hospitality and the use of your home. We all had a fantastic time and you will see us again.

Best House We Have Ever Experienced

We had a wonderful time at this house-- our best experience ever!
Truly, every nook and cranny was filled with thoughtfulness and love. It was clean, inviting, homey, part of a sweet neighborhood, and charming. It was also very convenient and 5 minutes to Disneyland! And, Kandee was more than accomodating, very professional, and wonderfully warm. We had 2 children and 4 adults in our party and stayed here very comfortably. Our kids loved the play room and the bocce ball court in the backyard-- what fun! We will be coming back as soon as we can!

A truly worth experience

We flied over 6 thousands miles acrossing the Pacific and found a wonderful home here! We had 3 families travel together, total 7 people ( 4 adults and 3 children ages 7,7 and 10), the house accomodated us perfect. It is super clean, comfort, spacious and has everything you may want to use daily, oh no, even more. The pictures show exactly same as what it is, oh no, even better. Our kids love the play room and backyard.
The owners are so great and easy to deal with. She is always prompt in responding to emails and calls, she was very kind and very knowledgeable to answer all our questions about the stay.
All in all, it is an unforgettable experience, we definitely will choose it again if we come back to this area in future. Thanks!
