The rental was exactly as pictured and described, although you must see the view from both bedrooms and the living room to fully appreciate! The unit was spotless and all furnishings were much above typical rental quality, especially the beds and linens. Owners were right next door and very helpful. Dave truely seemed concerned that we enjoy our stay, even welcomed us with refreshments! Overall, the best value for accommodations we have had in 15 years of Florida spring break trips.

My husband and I stayed in this condo for the month of March. Your first impression when you walk in the front door is, "Oh, Wow." That feeling pretty much stays with you for as long as you're there. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the huge window overlooking the gulf. The condo was very clean, and the decor was beautiful. The pictures give you a good idea of how each room looks. When entering the bedroom, you're greeted by the same breathtaking view, but this window has a screen and can be opened to enjoy the feel of the breeze and the sound of the waves rolling in. The weather was unseasonably cool this year, so we were able to have the window open the entire time. As the previous guest stated, sleeping to the sound of the waves was awesome. Dave and Deb were such great hosts. They were welcoming and hospitable and made us feel right at home. Despite less than perfect March weather, our stay was so fabulous, we've already booked it again for March of 2014! This is a perfect location, right on the beach and walking distance from shops, restaurants and Stump Pass Park. I would recommend this property to any couple who wants to have a wonderful beach vacation at a very fair cost. Thanks again, Deb and Dave!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 weeks.The condo is well decorated and immaculate. The kitchen well stocked. The condo is now a one bedroom, with 1 1/2 bathrooms which was great for the two of us. The view was spectacular from the condo. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well with the sound of the waves outside the bedroom window. I took many wonderful photos of the sunsets, waves and pelicans. Debbie and Dave were very helpful and friendly, making our time there very special. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful condo with us.

Start with the positive: The location was GREAT for beach lovers (nothing else in the area). The beach was quiet, peaceful, etc. The price was good. The kitchen was decently stocked (could use some knives). The decor of the unit was pleasant and the beds were comfortable. The unit was clean and the maintenance contact was friendly and responsive.

HOWEVER, we were disappointed with a few major (for us) items. Firstly, the photos and "amenities" lead a potential renter to believe there is an enclosed, private balcony. This is not the case. In actuality, there is a small plastic table and chairs set outside in the hall/stairwell, next to both stairs and the elevator. This was a major letdown for us, as we have a 1 year old that certainly could not play next to the stairs. We were looking forward to enjoying the outdoor space, but it really was useless to us as-is.

Secondly, I should have read the description more closely for the lack of "pool", but the photos made it look like there is a pool on site. It is really just a small, hot "spa", which was not appropriate for our child or me (pregnant).

Thirdly, the floor plan of this unit in relation to the one next to it has clearly been redesigned at some point (and not very well). There was a closet in the master bedroom with a vent directly into the neighbor's master bedroom. We could see directly into her bedroom! In addition, we could both hear each other clearly from various parts of the unit. Also, the neighbor's pantry light turns on this unit's hall light. Imagine how scared we were when our hall light suddenly turned on while we were all in bed! Finally to this point, the neighboring unit had FOUR private balconies, while this unit had none. POOR redesign.

Other small things: the TV remote did not work except to change the channel (power, volume, etc. had to be done on the set itself). There was a missing cable for the DVD player in the master, so we couldn't watch DVDs in that room. The wood floors were not finished--they still had spacers around all of the walls (which our small child loved trying to eat). The beach equipment provided was largely broken (at least half the chairs did not function properly, the toy buckets were cracked, floats had hotels, etc.).

Overall, it would be nice if the photos were a little less misleading and some of the broken/unfinished items were fixed/finished. Otherwise, the unit was sufficient.

We are California Beach people, originally from this part of Florida. This Lovely Condominium property on a quiet beach is ideal for couples looking for clean peaceful Gulf of Mexico waters and lots of shelling. The property is quite beautiful, the furnishings are new and Tommy Bahama, The beds are the most comfortable weve experienced in any rental. This is a 4 star property. Everything you need is here. The local restaurants, there are 4 within walking distance, have old Florida ambience and good food. We definetly will return again. Thanks for making your rental property so special.

This spacious condo on the Gulf of Mexico, made for a wonderful vacation for my mom, my 5 year old son, and myself. The condo's furnishings are really beautiful and it is equipped with anything you can possibly want. It was immaculate just as the photos appeared. The ocean is just steps away and the views are amazing. Although we were there during Tropical Storm Debbie, Dave made sure we were fine and lacking of nothing, even offering to grocery shop for us. After the storm we were out the door enjoying the water, the abundance of beautiful shells and shark teeth. We saw several dolphins and even a manatee swam up behind us. I would highly recommend this property. We would love to rent it again, it really was perfect for us. Thank you Debbie and Dave so much for sharing with us.

This was our second visit to this condo in the last few months, owner very nice to deal with and nice condo very convenient to beach yet away from hustle and bustle found at the south end of Manasota Key. We'll be back!

This condo is beautiful..it overlooks the carrabean blue ocean. It is conveniently located on Manasota Key and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time at the beach. The owners are especially accomodating and I really enjoyed renting from them.

BTW there is no where like Manasota Key, FL. It is beautiful!!!!!!!
