Very comfortable family home sleeps 14. Five bedrooms 4 1/2 baths

This home has been the entertainment central for family and friends for many years. Five thousand plus square feet of relaxing space. Large bedrooms, enormous windows, comfortable furniture, big family kitchen, screened in porch and three levels of deck, fish pond, surrounded by woods. In case it rains the winding staircase to the lower level opens out onto a large deck, has a full size pool table and a bumper pool table.

Five lakes within walking distance. Miles of marked hiking trails, heated swimming pool, and tennis courts are available amenities. Visit .. http://sherwoodforestnc.org/

For those looking to completely relax , meals may be prepared by your own chef or you may order meals to be prepared and delivered to the door.

THe house is has WIFI There is no cell service available at this time.

2 double futons, 1 queen air mattresse and two twin mattresses are in the house if needed.

Our mountain property has been in the family for over 23 years. Our large family , 6 siblings. wives, husbands and 15 grandchildren. one great grandchild have enjoyed the large interior space and great outdoor area for many years.

Perfect house for a laid back trip!

My friends and I had the best time at this house in the Sherwood Forest. The large, comfortable house is quite private at the top of a hill, surrounded by forest. We loved playing bumper pool and grilling out on the sprawling deck where the only sounds we heard were the birds and ourselves. The bedrooms are nice and roomy, with comfy beds and en suite bathrooms that are great for couples. It was a treat to have space to spread out, coming from NYC!

The Sherwood Forest is a wonderful, natural place full of trails, lakes, and waterfalls. Our friend was married at the Robin Hood Barn and it couldn't have been a more perfect weekend. Book this great house to get away from it all and enjoy time with the people you love!

My family group of 12 found this to be an ideal property for our purposes -- to be together under one roof and yet have comfort and privacy -- to be out in the wooded countryside and yet reasonably near stores and restaurants -- and to be affordable. The house is every bit as nice as the pictures. The lack of cell phone service took adjusting but wasn't fatal. We had a great vacation there.
