Casa del Mar is a recently built condo development, modern and well-designed, with a breathtaking jungle atrium. Sunbathe in picturesque contentment in a hammock slung across the deck, and cook, eat and dine in view of the ocean.
Lovingly decorated with local and international art and thoughtfully appointed, Condo Lolo ensures warmth and convenience as well as luxury. Floor-to-ceiling sliding-glass doors give access to the deck from the living room and the master bedroom. Fall asleep in the opulent king-sized bed with the sound of the waves in your ears, and wake to the magnificent view. The second bedroom has two comfortable twin beds with a general-access bathroom, while the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. I'm an experienced traveler with a longtime interest in exotic locations--anything to escape the icy misery of Boston winters. Now that I'm semi-retired I can enjoy my downtime.
Playa del Carmen offers everything I was looking for in a vacation destination: great weather, incredible beaches, and a vibrant town with wonderful restaurants--I could eat out on Fifth Avenue every night and never be bored. And the people around here are a lot nicer than many other places I've visited, both the locals and the many travelers, who make for fascinating and variegated community. My kids love the local entertainment and culture--ATVing, jetskis, adventure tours, and the Mexican cultural sites in the area.
I'm not much of a walker, so I appreciate being able to get to the beach so quickly, and having restaurants so close by. I like to go for a morning swim in the rooftop pool--and a late morning swim, and an afternoon swim.
