A little Paradise
We had an amazing stay in this house,it has everything to make your stay comfortable, the kitchen is new and the silverware, glasses, china all shout QUALITY !!The beds are comfy,as are the sofas, the layout is all open plan ,which is great for a large party of guests. The pool is lovely with a seating area in it and an umbrella over the table, there are loungers, and on a separate patio, a table and chairs ,where we would sit for breakfast.Plenty of towels and bedding as well.My husband loved the beach kayaks, and made good use of them, and the bikes are a great addition to this house,it is so easy to get around the Island on them.It is a short walk to the Rod and Reel pier, where you will be rewarded with daily dolphin sightings ,we also saw a manatee and her baby one day,the City pier is a short bike ride away.
You are so close to Bean Point here, just walk along Fern and there is a beach entrance there, the sunsets are breathtaking, make sure to take a camera,we sat down in the surf and I had rays ,a whole school of them darting around me!! Some good reasonable places to eat are Hurricane Hanks, always great service, and good food. The Island Gourmet(went there the very last night of our stay)Mr bones was quirky and fun. Try Minnies for Breakfast, also sign of the Mermaid for breakfast specials $3.99,We enjoyed our stay, and what makes this place great is if you have any problems with the house, the family across the street will help out in a heartbeat (we locked ourselvesout at 6.30 a.m the very first day there)they were so kind !!!! We are so wanting to go back. Phil and Sally Jones Wales U.K
