A nearby second cottage, Bluegill (larger, more modern Cape Cod with wooded views) available for extended family gatherings or separate bookings (inquire as to availability and pictures). Bluewater (and Bluegill) are part of a private cottage association surrounded by unique turn-of-the-century classic cottages, rolling dunes and wooded trails, with access to newly surfaced tennis court, beach volleyball, superb hiking and bike trails, children's play areas, beachfront fire pits (wood provided) and picnic tables. Cottages have access to Lake Michigan and nearby Pigeon Lake waterfronts - perfect for swimming, fishing and all water sports. 15 minutes to antiques and art galleries, Holland Farmer's Market, blueberry picking, excellent dining and quaint shopping in nearby Holland, Grand Haven, Saugatuck and Douglas. 45 minutes to Grand Rapids cultural offerings (Meijer Gardens, Ford and Grand Rapids Children's Museum, etc.).
Eric and Kim live in Evanston, IL (near Chicago) with their 3 children, but consider Bluewater/Bluegill their second home.
Since 1908, many generations of Eric's family have owned and still own cottages in this association.
