This is a beautiful home, lovingly decorated and cared for by Betsy and David. Each room has been uniquely decorated and furnished to have a charming character of its own. The owners (half?) joked that they had to move 4 blocks away because Betsy ran out of rooms to decorate.

The house is also very comfortable. The mattresses and pillows are wonderful, the bathrooms (especially the two master ones) are luxurious. There's lots of room for spreading out and relaxing. In fact, it would be a great home for entertaining (except for the limited parking). There's a front sun room, a living room, a dining room, an extended bar/breakfast room/rec room, and lots of outdoor living space (including 2 gas grills).

The beach was a short walk and the home is well stocked with everything you need - towels, umbrellas, toys, boogie boards, and a cart to carry it all.

The owners were wonderful to deal with. We had an issue caused by a previous renter. The owners dealt with it immediately and followed through to make sure it was resolved. They were very concerned with us and our vacation throughout the resolution. We couldn't have asked for a better handling of the situation.

Bottom line - this is a wonderful vacation home!

My family has been renting homes in Virginia Beach for 13 years, and this one is by far our favorite! This charming home is spacious and each room has its own personality. Plenty of places to stretch out and relax. Betsy and Dave were gracious hosts, providing us with linens, towels and plenty of beach chairs. They even gave us a personal tour of the place when we arrived to check in and left us some yummy goodies!

The house is a 2 block walk to the beach, which is away from the crowded tourist area. There is a Wave bus stop nearby and the boardwalk with shops and restaurants is a short drive away.

It was a pleasure renting this home. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. I hope we can rent this home again in the future!

This house is more beautiful then the pictures shown. We had such a great time. A great home away from home. Besty was a fabolous hostess!!!! She provided everything we could possible need at the house and also, for the beach. Next time we visit VA beach we are definitely going to stay here!!

One word... WOW! Beautiful house with fantastic amenties, great location, and hospitable and generous owners. Could not have asked for anything better!! Thank you, Betsy and David, for helping to make our vacation so memorable!

This was our first Virginia Beach vacation, and we couldn't have asked for a more comfortable stay. The house was clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked. We really appreciated all the little touches . . . complimentary soaps and shampoos, coffee, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, bed and bath linens, etc. The outdoor grills were much appreciated for evening grilling. Our walk to the beach was short. The homeowner was very attentive to our needs, staying in contact throughout the week and providing lots of helpful information about restaurants, grocery stores, etc. I strongly recommend this vacation rental home to anyone visiting Virginia Beach!

This house is by far one of the best vacation homes we have stayed in. We spent 2011 labor day long weekend at thee vacation home. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. The decoration is very warm.
Betsy and David are awesome owners. They were very sweet and went the extra mile to stock the fridge with Milk , Juice etc as we were arriving really late in the night.
The attention to detail paid by the owners is commendable.The tiny notes they leave are so handy in locating figuring out things.
The house also has all the stuff you would want to carry to a beach.
The beach is only couple of blocks away.
All in all an EXCELLENT place to stay and the hospitality of the owners is truly unforgettable. We definitely plan to go back to stay here in the near future

My friends and I rented this house for a week and were more than happy with our stay. The home was spacious and well kept, the beach was very close, clean and not crowded. We spent our time playing beach volleyball, and enjoying the beautiful clear water. The owners also provided boogie boards, beach chairs and a carrier for all of the necessities.

The boardwalk area was about 30-40 blocks away, which is only a $10 cab ride. There were plenty of restaurants and bars, as well as street entertainment. Busch Gardens was an hour away, and we managed to see a concert at the Farm Bureau Virginia Beach Amphitheater (20 minutes away). While not many restaurants were in walking distance, overall this house was in a great location.

On check-in we met the owners who were very sweet and accomodating. They made sure we knew who to contact in case of any issues and provided us with all the necessities. There was even a book with local information and coupon books.

Overall we had an incredible time. The house fit our large group perfectly. It would also be good for 2 families as there are 2 stunning master bedrooms.
