We had another great stay! This is the perfect house for our family. Close to everything we love, big enough for 5 adults and the occasional visitor. Great people to rent from, we were even able to bring our pets. The place is always clean and has lots of charm. This is our go to place when in Austin. Also, the next door neighbors were as cute as they could be with their new little kids running around. Great neighborhood, people out walking dogs, young families. And so close to Zilker.

We rented the house for my sister's bachelorette party. We couldn't get over how cute the house was! Every girl not only had a comfortable place to sleep, but plenty of room for everyone's stuff. Tons of closet space! The layout and sectional couch was perfect for sitting around and talking. Although if it had been warmer, we probably would have spent all our time on the back patio. The pictures don't do the yard justice.
Otherwise, the house was just as described online, and I would certainly recommend the property to a friend or visit again. It was simple to drive or get cabs downtown, but also close enough to grocery stores, restaurants or anything else you would need.

Weekend getaway to Austin was fabulous at Jessie's Place. We very comfortably slept 6 adults, a baby and a large dog. The house was quiet, clean and located in a great neighborhood. Everything in the listing description was accurate and we found the home to be better than expected. There are area trails that made Zilker Park destination a very easy walk. Well worth the price-much better than a hotel. No complaints and will definitely revisit! We found Vacation Cake Properties well run, trustworthy and easy to deal with.

The only complaint I have about our stay is that it's over!
My wife and I were traveling with her parents who had never been to Austin (poor folks!). We found the house itself perfect for our needs - sitting on the porch, walking of a morning, keeping up with laundry, etc. And the location was perfect in its proximity to Zilker, shopping, MoPac, and IH-35.
Taking our little day trips and local jaunts it felt like we were "home" when we got back to the house.

My husband and I rented this for my bridal party. We were thrilled! Everything was super easy for us -- no extra work on our wedding week was excellent. Everyone who stayed there loved the place. It was so nice to have a place to gather and to offer a cute, comfortable, and affordable place for some of my best friends who were working so hard to make our wedding a blast. We even took bridal party pictures in the backyard, and they turned out wonderful. We loved it and would highly recommend it!

We stayed four nights in early October to attend my daughter's wedding in downtown austin. We had seven adults. The convenient location made it very easy to enjoy the wedding and the weekend events! The house has lots of room and a great outside space. Jay actually greeted us at the house when we arrived, He was very helpful with suggestions for our needs in the area. We would definitely stay at Jessie's Place again!

Our group of 7 stayed at Jessie's place for Sxsw 2012 with room to spare. The house was clean, spacious and a great location for getting around; about a 30 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride to the Convention Centre. The neighbors were so nice and helpful in terms of directions and finding things. Jay went above and beyond making sure our stay was awesome and comfortable. Make sure to hit up the South Congress area - cutest neighborhood!

I am a local austin resident, but had friends in town and needed a rental house to accommodate them. The Jessie's Place house was absolutely perfect! Not only was the location great, but the house itself was spacious and comfortable, with a great backyard and tons of seating. The rental process was so easy, it made my job as coordinator a breeze! I would highly recommend this rental house and will refer all friends coming to town to stay here!
