There is a queen bed in the iron room and a twin over full bed in the western room. Two bathrooms ensure no lines in the mornings. Each room has its own heater so everyone can be as comfortable as they want. The kitchen has a full stove, refrigerator, microwave, and all the needed cook utensils. We are located along the 90 mile long Lake Koocanusa that was created by the building of the Libby Dam. Lake Koocanusa offers boating and fishing as well as beaches to enjoy a picnic lunch. The Tobacco Valley is known as the banana belt of Montana for its more tropical climes. Long days and clear nights make for a Montana vacation you will want to come back to.

We are both in the Medical field. We enjoy kayaking and white water rafting as well as camping in the summer. We both grew up in Montana, so coming to the cabin is like coming home.
I inherited the house from my father and wanted to keep it for friends and family to use and enjoy. We completed a full remodel of the house during several trips in 2011 and want to share our home in the woods with others.
Lake Koocanusa is a short stroll away and can make for a very invigorating start to the day. Day picnic areas are located along the shoreline and the lake is a great place for the kids to splash around in. While walking, you will pass herds of deer that will perk up at your passing, but are accustomed to people enough to not be spooked.
