We stayed at Dune Alright in May and went back in August, with a group of eight. House had plenty of space and was very well-appointed. Every room was light and airy and comfortable - just what you want at the beach. We loved the pool and outdoor, private shower to rinse the sand off the kids after a day at the beach. Beach is minutes away by foot, so if you forget something and need to run back, no problem. I would definitely stay again. And Duck Donuts (recommended by owner) is a must!

House and location to the beach was phenominal~~couldn't have picked a better central location from the grocery store to the beach to places to dine (DQ) to the shopping to the gas station to the tour of the lighthouse - just simply AWESOME!! Our group of exactly (14) stayed over Memorial weekend - beach was not crowded whatsoever - first time in Corolla which is where we have all agreed this side of the island is where we will vacation from here on out - love the atmosphere and the amenities it has to offer.
The house, pool, screened in porch - enjoyed many-a-meals out there, especially @ night. The walk to the beach was literally a short stroll from house to private walk-way. The bedrooms were OH SO decorated beautifully - very nice touch w/ the Tommy Bahama linens - EVERYONE loved the decor of the home - spacious even with the number of people in our group. This home has everything - YOU'LL LUV IT!!!...we did :)

We spent a wonderful week at Dune Alright in late June. We had never stayed on the Outer Banks before and we throughly enjoyed it. We spent everyday on the beach, surfing, swimming and relaxing. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. The pool was perfect for the kids after a day at the beach. It kept the kids occupied while we grilled dinner. We bought local seafood for dinner and cooked at home. The house is convenient to shopping and other tourist attractions. We took a wild horse tour up to Corova one afternoon and it was beautiful. One morning we went to the lighthouse. Since my family loves to stay at the beach all day, I had decided to get them up and go one morning before we went to the beach. The view was beautiful. The lighthouse opens at 9 am in season. I would recommend going first thing in the morning. There were 4 groups in front of us when we arrived, but when we came back down the line was significant and there was no parking. I would highly recommend 'Dune Alright' to friends and family and plan on going back again.
