Sitting right across the street from the beach, only steps to the beach access path, and on a corner lot at the end of Nicklaus Lane make this home's location ideal. No traffic. Privacy. Plus you cannot be inside the Vanderhorst Plantation and yet be any closer to The Sanctuary and Turtle Point Clubhouse. From the home's very private back deck and screened porch you can see lagoons and the golf course. The large private swimming pool is surrounded by trees and sunshine. (This pool cannot be heated and is covered from fall until spring.)
This beautiful residence has hardwood floors throughout the main living areas. Fine furniture and pine antiques complement a spacious living room that opens up to the back pool deck. Elegant white wainscoting, an eat-in bar, and a large glass-topped, waxed pine table accentuate the adjacent dining room. A gourmet kitchen includes cream-colored cabinetry, granite countertops, a rustic center farm table, great appliances and cookware, access to the screened porch, and a breakfast area bathed in natural light. A half bathroom is also located downstairs.
The large master bedroom is located on the first floor with floor to ceiling windows, heavy blackout curtains perfect for sleeping in during your stay, lots of closet space, and a relaxing master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, double vanity sinks, a walk in shower with hand held spray and plenty of natural lighting.
Upstairs are 5 additional bedrooms. Located on the front of the house are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a room adjacent which holds 2 twin beds. (Please note that the rooms with the twin beds must be accessed through the queen bedrooms.) One of the front bedrooms has a private bath with separate sink vanity and a stall shower. The other front bedroom has a shared bathroom with a tub/shower combo and its own private sink vanity. Located at the back of the house sharing this bathroom is the last bedroom with a queen bed and a small balcony to step out on to enjoy the views of the backyard, back deck and pool. Also located upstairs is a small porch with rocking chairs to sit and relax on during your stay.
Current renovations are estimated between $350-400K and include: new exterior and entry stairs, enlarging and updating master bedroom and bathroom, updating second floor bedrooms, adding a second floor room, replacing carpet with hardwood floors, replacing doors and moldings, updating screened porch, replacing pool deck railing, new garage door with improved garage access, and new landscaping. Pictures will be updated when renovations are complete.
