My family of six recently stayed at the condo because I was running the LA Marathon and wanted to be close enough to Santa Monica, but not overwhelmed by the crowds in town for the event.
The unit was clean upon arrival and the beds were comfortable (two important qualities for my family). The rugs in the master bedroom and living area were a bit stained, but that is to be expected for a short-term unit. The unit has normal wear and tear (bathtub peeling and drafty windows), but unless you are looking for 5 star accommodations, it isn't a big deal.
The condo also had one large parking space, which is a must if you are bringing a car as street parking is limited.
My only concern was the large dog below us as the people kept the door open and the dog barked whenever we were outside. I assumed the entire unit was a no-pets allowed accommodation when I reserved and should have inquired about the lower unit's policies.
For the convenience and value I would stay here again.

Spectacular rental - close to the beach!

This was my first time renting through HomeAway.com and what an incredible experience! I stayed in this upper unit for 5 days. Someone was there to meet me as soon as I arrived in the area. A tour was given and all questions were answered thoroughly. I was given a phone number and email that could be used at any time (although it was not needed as everything was perfect!) I was so pleased to find that the description of the place was exactly as it was when I arrived! The property was immaculate, well maintained and provided all of the necessary amenities for a weeks stay. I saw a map of the area but was still surprised at how close the property is to the beach - just a half block away from shops, dining, and beach fun. We had 3 people staying in the unit and there was ample room for everyone. Thank you so much for a relaxing stay! When I visit the area again I will be sure to book this property!
