Very Peaceful

We had a wonderful time. The condo is clean, safe and very well equipped. The patio and grounds are beautiful. The private beach is much more peaceful than the huge resorts. Once you walk up and down the beach you will be glad you stayed here. If it is a concern for you, there is plenty of security at the complex for a feeling of safety. My wife and I wandered several miles up and down the coast and through the local neighborhoods as well. We felt completely comfortable the whole time. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and every one of them were unique and wonderful experiences. The food was good everywhere, which you can't say about the all inclusive resorts. I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect alternative to the all inclusive resorts!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience while staying at this property. The location was perfect as it had all the perks of being in the main tourist area but without the crowds at the all inclusives. The pool and beach were beautiful and always had plenty of chairs available. There is also security all throughout the property so we always felt very safe. The condo itself had everything one could need or want to make any meal and was very comfortable. The balcony was also a big plus. It was nice and large and a great place to enjoy your meals and coffee. The property managers were very helpful and I really appreciated the quick and thorough communications I received from the owner whenever I had a question. It really made the stay more comfortable knowing there people available to answer any questions. I had a wonderful time and would definitely return to stay in this condo again.

Perfect vacation rental

We loved staying in Turquesa and this condo has everything you could want. We particularly loved the BBQ and the huge terrace. The beach is fantastic and there is a huge pergola providing shade with lots of lounge chairs. We look forward to staying there again.

Fantastic, Homely Apatrment

Stayed here with some friens in May. Lovely furnished apartment - better equpped than most i have stayed in. Only a minute walk to the beach and a well stocked supermarket accross road. Bakery beside supermarket is a must !! Would strongly recommend this rental for a holiday in Bavaro.

Me and my husband rented this condo in April 2011 for 10 days. It was perfect. You can see the beach from the balcony. We had lunch on it daily. The condo is close to everything. Todd is very nice and helpful. This was the second time we rented from him in this condo complex. There are plenty of security so you feel safe at all times. My husband and I walked to many restaurants on the beach at night and we felt safe.
The beach was cleaned daily. We hope to return this year again.

The apartment matches the pictures from the website. It has a light and modern decor. Very inviting and at the same time relaxing. From the big terrace you have nice views of the pools and in the distance the sea.
If you prefer a modern and stylish interior (from the kitchen, showers to the sofas) this is for you. A bigger TV in the living room would cream it :).
Unfortunately the internet connection is not good inside but strong from the terrace.
The apartment complex has security guards, port and a reception (like a hotel). The complex is very quiet though (unlike the hotels).
I would have enjoyed an evening where the residents of the complex would gather for a barbeque, getting to know each other and where information about the area and excursions could be given.
The reception lady was very friendly and she would call an English speaking person who could answer my questions (I was a bit confused of how really to benefit from the function of the reception).
The beach is good, but you will find better further north (occupied by AI hotels though) with cleaner water and nicer seabed. The excursion boats are to blame.
Outside the complex you’ll find cosy cafes and the different shops you need (a bit expensive).
All in all I was very satisfied and wouldn’t hesitate with a recommendation of the apartment.
Final note:
The driver of the pre-booked taxi was very friendly and chatty. So was the contact person at the complex – but make sure to fire off all the “stupid” questions like ... how does the washing machine work, what does it cost to use the phone and how do I pay that ... and so on)

My wife and I stayed here for 3 weeks in February 2011 and throughly enjoyed our time. The complex sits beachfront, between many, all inclusive, hotels. We met others staying at the same facility and formed friendships that will last beyond our stay. We have rebooked for 2012. We have no problem in recommending this property.

We stayed at this condo In October 2010. Brand new condo, very modern and bright. Terrace with great views down onto beach and sea breezes that are perfect at night time to be sat with a drink relaxing. The private beachfront is clean with plenty of loungers with cushions, and there is now a pool bar open in the second pool. Central for everything. Didnt want to leave. Todd and Maria the managers made sure we had a great stay. Will be repeating this year again.So much better than staying in all inclusive.

Perfect Beach Front Condo!

We stayed at his condo in July 2010, and immediately repeated in October 2010. Fantastic condo - the view onto the beach from the balcony is fantastic, and the constant breezes you get are amazing. Everything you need is within a few minutes walking distance. And plenty of places to eat on the beach front if you fancy a romantic stroll in the evenings. Pizza and beer in Palma Sands in Cortecito are our favourite. We are already planning our return for this summer to this great home from home. Todd and Maria who manage the property for the owners are a great couple, and are always happy to help you with anything and book your trips for you. Great to have a friendly face on site if you need them. All my family and friends will definately be looking to book this property.
