Enjoyed our stay for the most part

The owner of the townhouse, Stephanie, was a pleasure to deal with. We had problems checking in upon arrival, the home was supposed to be ready at 4:00 PM, when we arrived at 3:00 PM, the resort explained that the home was not yet ready. We returned at 4:00 PM only to find out it still wasn't ready. After being up for 24 hours straight driving I was fed up and by 5:00 PM my room was ready after a lot of complaining. However, I was not the only person having this issue. It was clear by the 60+ people waiting in the lobby that the resort staff had no idea what was going on. However, by the extensive reviews that I read from other owners at this property, etc. it seems that this is NOT typical at this place, but I still think the resort should have compensated by not charging the resort fee. (The owners are not responsible for check in and I don't think they should be held accountable). In all, I WOULD go through Stephanie AGAIN and stay at this resort. Of all the places I checked Stephanie was the cheapest, as she explained she only charged what it costs to maintain her home and I believe this to be true due to the outrageous charges by others at the same resort, in basically the same type of home!
In regards to the other reviews....it is correct, AT&T has horrible service inside the resort, but Verizon has great service, there isn't a lot of TV channels, but we weren't there enough to care, I did NOT see any bugs in the home, the internet password works now, and it is about a 10-15 minute drive to Disney!

Especially that you decide to come back to our town-home next time is a very rewarding feelings that as an owner could wish for. Indeed, for the check-in problem that you encountered, I immediately contacted the director of Regal Palm as soon as I learned there was that issue. The information is that there were over 100 check outs that day which is a very big load for housekeeping to deal with between check out at 10am and check in at 4pm. The management was very sorry (so do I) that guests were delayed beyond 4pm but without making excuses, acknowledging that that day was one of the busiest changeover days at the Resort all year. In fact, this period was reserved by management for a big event. While, typically, guests check-in and check -out randomly distributed. With such a big event, it can be suddenly crowded. As an owner, I do wish such a situation will never happen again. I specially appreciate your understanding that issues like this are out of my control. Nevertheless, I will propose suggestions to the management so that special efforts will be prepared for big events like that next time.

Another great stay at Regal Palms

This was our third visit to Regal Palms, each time we have stayed in a different villa, I would return to any of of them. I have always had very clean villa's, they are extremely roomy and the property is beautiful. We very much enjoy the warm temps of the pools especially when the air temp is cooler, the pools are warm enough to enjoy in 50 degree weather, this alone keeps us coming back to Regal Palms. I found the staff at check in attentative, we did not have any issues. The resort seemed busier then ever but I also noticed property improvements, pools are open late, tiki bar, volleyball courts. We enjoy the central location of Regal Palms, allowing for day trips to amusement parks, or Kennedy Space Center, the Atlantic, or the Gulf Beaches. We'll be back.

We totally enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet and clean property. Lots of towels available. Appliances in good working order. Awesome to have three bathrooms and room to move about. Nice pool area too! A distant walk to the pool but we did not mind as we knew ahead of time . Three TVs to view and close to the theme parks and only about 40 minutes to the airport. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for such a great rate!!

Great Visit!

We had a pleasant stay at this property. I would recommend it to others. We had three minor issues. One of the commodes was clogged, but a call to the Reception Desk and a worker was dispatched to correct the problem in a timely manner. The WIFI password provided was not accurate, but I'm a computer scientist, so that was resolved easily also. The toaster was a four slice unit and one side (2 slices) burnt the toast. We did not turn this in until we departed as it was only a minor inconvenience. The pool has a slide and a lazy river, but be advised, you must bring your own flotation device if you wish to use one. We were at the property for Valentines Day and the resort restaurant had a special for a three course meal with dancing, it was very nice. The property was clean and well maintained. The townhouse has a full kitchen, but we no measuring cups/spoons were available, which made some cooking challenging. TVs in the bedrooms were old CRT displays, but the living room TV was a modern flat panel. The apartment is equipped with a washer/dryer, which made the stay much nicer. The main bathrooms had garden tubs. There was off street parking for two cars. On disadvantage is the townhouse is separated from the resort area, requiring you to drive to get to resort facilities, e.g. the pool area. If you have AT&T for cell phone you coverage is near non-existent in the townhouse. Verizon seemed to have good signal. Overall, the stay was excellent and we enjoyed the area and are considering this location for our next visit.

A wonderful townhouse to spend your holiday in Orlendo

We spent one week in the end of 2012 for our holiday and lived in this wonderful townhouse. It's very new, clean and nice. Three bedrooms are good enough for my family with four members. The house provides all furniture and kitchen appliance, and you can cook by yourself. There is a Publix close to the community gate and you spend just 3 minutes to arrive there if you drive a car. The house is beaultiful and the best thing of the community is its heated pool and river which my kids love very much. The house is also very close to Disney Land (less than 15 minutes) and other attractions in Orlando. The most important thing is its rate is unbelievable low if you contact the owner Stephanie by yourself. I strongly recommand this house and give it a five-star.

Excellent Property for Disney Vacation

We really enjoyed the stay at this property -- Three bedrooms with two upsatirs and one at the main floor. Having two daugters with us, it made it so much easier for them to have their own spaces. Impossible if you live in a hotel. The kitchen is awsome! With the shopping center being so closeby, you can make some serious cooking if you want. Orignially we thought we would not do much cooking since we would like to enjoy the resturants for the pleasure of vacation. But just realized the dining gets so expensive. As many reviewers have mentioned, the distance from the property to Disney is really close (~10 min drive). We figured it became so practical to break down our exhausting day into morning and evening seesions. Go visiting Disney morning and come back around lunch time. Enjoy the pool and lazy river... Have a late luch and early dinner, go Disney again. The Disney evening is really pleasant -- less crowded and more to see, e.g. all the fantastic night laser showers -- unforgetable! Anyway, loved it very much! Thank you for everything you offered with such an amazing price! Can't beat it!

If luxury is what you are looking for, this unit is not it! It was very plain & blah. There was no tv in the downstairs bedroom, the other tv's were tiny & the lack of channels was very disappointing. The until was pretty clean, except for the 3 roaches we killed, & the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very uncomfortable! The until is far from the pool, we had to drive there since we have 2 small children. The pool was nice but the pics are deceiving, it's very small. It got crowded & rowdy in the late afternoon/evening. The trash can was on the back patio & was full of smelly trash. If you are an AT&T customer the service is horrible! We could only make calls in the driveway. Also, of you are flying it's a good 40 minutes to the airport! There are stores & places to eat very close which was nice & they were pretty good!

Owner's Response: We add more channels to TV program. Cell phone signal is not strong, however, the in house land-line phone is free of charge for any call within US (mainland). Other issues, such as the trash and pool related, are charged by the entire management of the vacation village. Nevertheless we have talked to the management already on these issues which should have been either resolved or improved.

I would definitely request this property again, especially after hearing the other families experiences who were on this trip with us regarding their properties. The manager of this property was very helpful and responsive to my questions via e-mail and phone calls. This property was very clean and well kept. My daughter's b-ball team plans a trip to AAU Nationals yearly and I will definitely keep this property manager's information available for the future. The home was lovely, great experience for my family.

very enjoyable

We stayed in this unit for 3 weeks in Feb. This year the weather was very nice and our 12 yr old son got to enjoy the pool alot. The unit has everything you could ask for except good cable channels. It is a very basic pkg. My son was shocked that he couldn't get Cartoon Network, Disney, of any of the kid channels, just the news and your basic ABC, NBC, & CBS. The internet was very easy to use. The kitchen has everything for you to make any meal that you want and sure saves you alot of money in dining cost. This unit is very far back in the facility and you do need a car, but the grocery is close, a few restaurants, even a baber shop in a small shopping area at the entrance to Regal Palms. As all other town houses at Regal Palms this was tied and comfortable. No problems at all. Just a bit far from pools which is not a big problem. Highly reccomended
