Truman Annex, 2 bedrooms 2.5 baths.

This charming villa is located on the President’s Walk in the Truman Annex, Key West’s most exclusive gated community, in the heart of Old Town. You’ll be just a short walk from the best restaurants and attractions, including Sunset Pier, Duval Street and the sunny, sandy beach at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. You won’t need a car, because it’s all right outside your door. Just for fun, you can rent a bike or scooter from the shop just one block away, right next to a deli/convenience store.

THE LIVING AREA...

As you enter, you’ll be struck by the distinctive Spanish tile floors and tropical colors. “Cool Breeze” has large French doors that open up to your own covered patio and a comfortable sofa bed for extra guests. The large flat screen TV is great for those times you need a break from Key West’s night life, or you can stretch out under the shade of the manicured vegetation and palm trees on one of your three covered porches. Great “people watching” can be had on the covered front porch overlooking Southard Street. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare any meal, and you can dine either indoors or outdoors. A powder room is just off the living area.

THE COMMUNITY POOL & THE BEACH...

Just outside your back door is the Community Pool with chaises and umbrellaed tables with chairs. Key West’s famed Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, with the prettiest beach in Key West is down the block. “Cool Breeze” has provided all of the necessary beach gear for you, including towels, beach mats and a cooler.

THE ACCOMMODATIONS...

Both bedrooms are on the second level of this two-story villa. The master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, large closet and double French doors to the covered balcony. The second bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen TV and also has an en-suite bathroom.

as soon as we walked in we loved Cool Breeze - Red Tile floor first floor and all wood floors elsewhere it was everything we wanted. There were four of us: two who drank decaf and two who drink regular coofee so we asked Lori to bring us a second pot and she did so the very next morning. Everthing occurred just as Lori said it would and she gave us some personal favorite restaurants to choose from. The property is just 2 blocks from Duval and the island has the flavor of Cuba or some other Carribean island - narrow streets, not alot of cars, bars, restaurants, clothing stores, souvenirs and all were great but what really pleased us were the roosters, hens, chicks and kitties loose throughout the tourist area whom we shared the streets with and it was our pleasure to do so.

Cool Breeze has a shady front porch as well as back porch and it was about thirty steps from a refreshing pool. Personally, I would not wish to vacation elsewhere - the walks helped me lose a pound or two of winter weight. And the shocker of the whole trip, unbeknownst to me, was the fact that Ernest Hemingway was awarded the most prestigious of war medals... the "Medal of Honor". Visit his home to find out which country gave him that award!!!

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! We fully enjoyed the convenience and comfort of "Cool Breeze" and its location. The house became our home for 6 weeks, and we hated to leave. Even had the chance to meet the owner, who was more than accommodating. The icing on the cake was the property manager, who made sure our stay was the ultimate vacation. Would definitely return for another 6 weeks (or more).

A Perfect Week!!

Our stay at Cool Breeze was fantastic! We stayed for a week and had a great time. The place was immaculate upon our arrival. And it was furnished with everything we could have wanted. The location could not have been more perfect. Just two blocks from Duvall Street in one direction, two blocks to the entrance of Ft Zachary Taylor State Park in the other and about a 10 minute walk to Mallory Square to the north or 10 minutes to the Southern Most "everything" to the south. When we weren't out seeing sites, enjoying a meal or just taking in the culture we relaxed at pool side just out the back door. Lori provided "concierge service" that made the trip hassle-free. She made reservations, secured discounts and even had bicycles delivered to our front door. The combination of accomodations, location and service resulted in a TRULY FIVE STAR experieince! THANK YOU!!

Wonderful Home, close to everything

The house was wonderful!!!!! Very clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the front porch for people watching and the back porch for morning coffee or an evening drink. It is close to Duval St. and all the things going on. We went to Key West for the Power Boat races, and this was the ideal place to stay for that also. I would recommend this home. Thanks to Lori for the "Happy Birthday" signs for Rick. That was a great extra touch!
I want to wish John and Janine best wishes in this venture. Thanks for letting us rent it!

Best Villa in Key West! Great Location!

We are two couples over 50 who love to travel. This is the best Villa in Key West! First, it is so bright and cheerful with lots of room, 2.5 baths, kitchen with everything you need, glasses, dishes, pots and pans for eating in, extremely comfortable furniture and beds, a dining table inside and out on the back patio. The villa is so quiet that if three of us were downstairs listening to music and laughing and one was napping, they never heard a thing! Amazing! We rented bikes and there is plenty of room to keep them in the fenced back yard, there is also a balcony off of the master bedroom that looks over the community pool so you can scope out a chair before you walk out your back gate to the pool! The beach is a short walk or bike ride away and Blue Heaven and the Green Parrot are within 2 blocks! You are two blocks from the main party street Duval and walk right in the center of the action! Last but not least Lori Bailey is the best! She make our trip perfect, she was available for anything you needed or any questions and we cannot wait to come back to Cool Breeze! Thank you Lori!!!

Perfect Location in the Heart of Key West

This is absolutely the best location in Key West. You are on a secure, private street in Truman Annex, yet one block from all the action. It was so nice to be able to come home and relax in the serenity of Cool Breeze after an adventure filled day exploring Key West. The home itself was perfect for us. The home was very clean, and was fully stocked with everything we needed for our trip. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Key West, but wanting a little more peaceful setting to relax at the end of the day.

I couldn't end this review without mentioning Lori Bailey at Last Key Realty. Lori is awesome!! She welcomed us at the house upon arrival, and was there to answer all our questions throughout the entire vacation. She booked discounted reservations for us with multiple vendors, and was always extremely professional, happy, and generally made our trip perfect in every way.
