Gorgeous beach house

We have rented a lot of houses on LBI, and this house was by far the best in every way. It is beautifully furnished, bright, sunny, clean, great layout, well-equipped, and just a pleasure. The location is perfect - in our favorite LBI town - easy walk to beach and bay, Viking Village and White's market. We were able to easily come and go from the beach and we enjoyed biking up to the lighthouse, shops, Poppy's ice cream and restaurants at Barnegat Light. The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. We hope to come back!

Beautiful Shore House!

My family and I just returned from a week at LBI. This house was perfect for us! It was clean, filled with natural light and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed (and more!) to cook our meals. The location was perfect - 3 minute walk to the beach and 4 minute walk to Viking Village. The owner was very responsive to our questions and needs. We hope to return next summer!

My family and I stayed here last week and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful! The floor plan is very open and filled with light. We loved how clean and bright it was and also loved the contemporary furnishings. Off the kitchen there is a deck with a new gas grill. The deck is partially covered so we were able to eat outside even on the day it rained. We also enjoyed the sunsets on the rooftop deck. The location is perfect - a 3 minute walk to the beach and 4 minute walk to Viking Village. The owner is very responsive and does everything he can to ensure a pleasant stay. I don't think there's a comparable house with all the amenities! We're already planning to return next summer!

Fabulous Beach House in Barneget

This house was everything that was promised! As an interior designer I appreciated the care with which the house was renovated and house beautifully it was decorated. Everyone was extremely comfortable and we loved the bay sunset from the roof top deck. Definitely hoping to come back! The owner answered all our questions promptly and made the week happen for us! We recommend the fish and chips at "Off the Hook" in Viking Village.

Wonderful House

This house was beautiful, light-flooded, and spacious. We filled every room and still had an excess of space for our belongings. The kitchen was very modern and fully equipped with anything we could possibly have needed, the amount of sunlight that reached the interior of the house was unbelievable, and the view from the roof-top deck (to which we had easy access) was gorgeous. The street was quiet and the distance between the house and the beach was basically negligible. The owner was very accommodating and clearly worked hard to make our stay easy and pleasant. We had a great time!

Great start to summer!

My family and I stayed in this amazing house for a week during June 2012, the house is even more amazing than the pictures show. The decor along with all the amenities make for a great vacation spot. We enjoyed the short walk to the ocean and the bay, and to Viking Village. Although Barnegat Light is the northern most part of the island, it was close enough to all the fun of the island. It was a great "home" to come back to after a day/night out in LBI. Our 3 boys didn't want to leave! They miss their temporary home in LBI!

Amazing home!!

Just returned from a weekend stay with some girlfriends - what a beautiful home!! The house was immaculately clean, light and airy with plenty of space and beautifully decorated. Even though the weather was not great during our stay, being in this amazing house definitely made up for it. We loved that there was a little market right/package store shortly down the street, which made it easy to grab the few things we forgot to pack. The owner was so great to work with as well; he answered all of my questions very quickly and just overall made the experience even better! Would definitely recommend this beautiful home by the sea!

There is so much light and space in this house, right down to the choice of furnishings by these thoughtful owners. We, two families, made of three adults and three kids, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Here's what you should know: the interior is beautiful, with decks in front and back and on the roof.
The hosts were wonderful, responsive and kind. Our stay was delayed one day by Hurricane Irene (Sunday, August 28, 2011) and they were in touch with us before, during and after the storm, and had the house ready for us by Monday morning.
The kitchen is brand new, spacious, and a pleasure to eat in. There are two master suites, both so ample we didn't fight over which couple got the "best" one. The Bose sound system is wonderful, and has an extension for your iPod.
If you don't know LBI, this is the quieter side of the island. It's less crowded, but has several great places to eat including four ice cream parlours and an EXCELLENT coffee shop in Viking Village to which you can walk.
The beach is one block away. This meant that we could eat either breakfast or lunch at home and still be there early. OR, go to the beach, set up (with kids, this is half the battle) and anyone could walk home for a bite, a nap, or a bathroom (even more essential with kids!) quickly and easily.
Needless to say we are big fans. We'll be renting there again.
