2 Bedroom (1K, 1Q), 2 Bath, Sleeps 4-6

This property is for someone who desires a luxurious stay, in a new property with all the amenities you'd expect in a 5 star condo. Built in 2008, this unit is on the 15th floor, so the Bay and Ocean views are spectacular. If you want a vacation that makes you feel pampered, with beautiful furniture throughout, 800 count sheets, and new modern bedding, this is your place. The furnishings and wood floor are all new in 2011. Property features a 24 hour concierge, 2nd floor coffee bar, 2 pools (1 is infinity) with wading area and water features for kids. You are literally ON the beach. No crossing the highway, no crossing the seawall. East beach is the luxury beach of Galveston. There is no where in Galveston that comes close to this beautiful place. The workout facility has all new Life Fitness Equipment, with over 20 pieces, so no waiting. The dry sauna is in pristine condition. You are within 1 mile of the seawall & all it's restaurants/bars. The Strand is 2 miles away.

Local Attractions: Shlitterbahn Water Park is a fun family place, especially on those hot summer days. The Strand is a fabulous area about 2 miles away, with an Art District, shopping and restaurants on the pier. The Pier also has narrated boat tours, a drilling rig you can tour, as well as fishing boats for charter. Be sure to visit the Old Fashioned Soda and Taffy Parlor, where they will spin the taffy and throw you a piece, while you enjoy your Root Beer Float. The Strand also had Horse and Buggy Carriage rides through the historic district. On the Seawall, you can tour in a Duck Boat, take a Segway tour or rent jet skis for the afternoon. Moody Gardens features an Imax Theater, Butterfly Museum, Paddleboat tour and Aquarium. NASA Space center is approx. 30 minutes north, with an outlet mall on the way. Downtown Houston is about 45 minutes - home of the Houston Rockets, Houston Texans and Houston Astros.

Amenities in the Condo: Master bedroom features a King bed, with 800 count sheets, a ceiling fan and a private bath. Double closet, with luggage rack and lots of drawer space. Master has a 32 inch LED/LCD TV and DVD player. This room has a view of the Beach and Gulf, the Bay and a spectacular nighttime view of downtown Galveston.

The Master bath has granite counter tops, over-sized spa tub with massage shower head. Hair dryers are in both bathrooms. Shampoo, conditioner and Bath gel are also in both showers.

Second bedroom features a queen bed, 800 count sheets, ceiling fan and another 32 inch LED/LCD TV with a Playstation 3 and video games for the kids! The floor to ceiling window in this room shows the Bay view.

Living Room has floor to ceiling wall of windows. A new leather sofa and chair. 42' LCD TV with built-in Netflix. Large dining room table seats 4, bar area seats 2.

200 sq ft deck: panoramic Bay view and outdoor seating.

Kitchen and Laundry: Kitchen: granite countertops, Bosch stainless appliances, water and ice in the door fridge. Blender, toaster, wine opener, bottle opener, complete dishes and cooking utensils. Cookie sheets, broiler pan, wine glasses. Dishwasher soap, dish soap provided. European halogen ceiling lights, with mosaic backsplash and above cabinet lighting.

Laundry: New Kenmore Elite High Efficiency front load washer and dryer w/ steam.

Entire condo is newly painted with just installed wood floors in 2011.

Why Pamela Rohan chose Galveston

Built in 2008, this is an ultra-modern Condo. THE nicest property Galveston has to offer. Nothing else like it. East Beach is huge and more private than the surrounding beaches. It is one of the very few properties DIRECTLY on the beach, no crossing highways or seawall. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can't beat a 15th floor view of downtown Galveston at night. The master bedroom has an ocean view.

Best place on the island

I was very impressed with my stay at this condo. If you want to vacation on Galveston Island, this is the place. No other place has direct access to an wide, clean, uncrowded beach. The building is new and clean with nice facilities. The security was extremely good- you need a key to access almost everything and the parking garage was fully secure overnight.
Our unit was decorated beautifully. The view was of the channel and city, not the beach, but it was high up and very nice. Watching the cruise ships travel was very interesting. I will visit again.

Best Spring Break ever! The condo is a gem! We were right on the beach and minutes away from the busier end of the island. Pam and Michael are the perfect hosts, as were many of the residents of the building. A perfect family get-away!

We had a wonderful time in Galveston! The condo was beautifully decorated (and the beds were very comfy!!) and had everything we needed, including a nice air mattress for our eight-year-old son, as our thirteen and eleven year old daughters shared the queen bed in the second bedroom. The only negative for us was that the condo balcony faces the bay and not the gulf. The condo complex was amazing - the kids loved the pools and we all loved the hot tubs! It was an easy trek down the boardwalk to the beach! The beach was private and expansive. Our only complaint was, being there offseason, the beach was only graded one of the days, so it was pretty solid and a little uncomfortable for getting some sun. The gulf was beautiful - we actually saw a dolphin about 15 yards offshore past where the kids were playing in the waves! We HIGHLY recommend the Mexican restaurant "The Original" in Galveston - it was amazing and very reasonably priced! (recommended by the concierge at the condo complex!) Overall, we had an outstanding time in Galveston...and the owners were amazing to work with!

Very Nice...best condos complex in Galveston

The condo is clean, well maintained and furnished. Nice aerial view from the 15th floor. The location is excellent and the amenities world class. The concierge is really caring. The owner was very accessible and easy to work with. We have been to Galveston several times but never rented a condo. I picked the place because there was no other place in Galveston where I wanted to celebrate my wife birthday. We really enjoyed and will certainly be back again.

The condo was impeccably clean, furnished beautifully, and extremely modern. Great location. Great Building. Loved the view from the 15th floor. The owners were very nice & I would be happy to give them my business again!
