This property met our expectations after reading reviews and descriptions and looking at the pictures. We spent the first couple of days weathering Tropical Storm Debby, but the open plan and porches made staying here with six little ones bearable. The kitchen was easy to manage - in fact, we cooked all but three meals for the week. The outdoor shower (with hot water) was nice to rinse off from the beach before coming through the house.

We were already familiar with Mexico Beach and its family-friendly beach atmosphere. We left our canopy and chairs set up on the beach every time we came back to the house with no worries. Port St. Joe is only 10 minutes away if you need fast food or a grocery store or anything else quickly. And, Panama City is a 35-40 minute drive away for more touristy events.

Our only issues were that the wi-fi was spotty all week - but I'm not at the beach to surf the web, so it wasn't a big deal - and that the upstairs bathroom still needed cleaning when we arrived. Neither of those things were enough to call the owner or affect our opinion of the property.

Overall - great week and we will be back in hopes that this property is available!
