Welcome to Club Bahia. All the comforts of home and more at our 2 bedroom/2 bath condo on Isla del Sol, a 350 acre island community surrounded by the beautiful blue waters of Boca Ciega Bay. Just pack your clothes and bring the groceries. Everything else you need is already here. Enjoy the view from our 30’ balcony…watch the dolphins play in the early morning and marvel at the beautiful sunsets framing the Don CeSar Hotel on St. Pete Beach. You won’t find a more relaxing place to stay.

Isla del Sol is surely a tropical paradise. Stately Royal Palms line Bahia del Mar Blvd. and fragrant tropical blooms lightly scent the air. The grounds are meticulously manicured. You’ll wonder why you ever vacationed anywhere else.

You can spend the days close to the condo and enjoy swimming in the tropical pool or ease into the hot tub with Geothermal heating providing perfect water temperatures year round. There are restroom facilities in the pool area for your convenience. Work out in the fitness room or lounge in the elegant card room with fireplace and a kitchen facility. All of this is for the exclusive use of the Club Bahia owners and guests.

Activities are also available for the young and young-at-heart. Fishing, swimming, golfing, boating, sight-seeing trips, nightlife, casino cruises and watercraft rentals. There are also many local restaurants and unique shops for you to enjoy.

Want to see the sights? Try Fort DeSoto Park. Picnic at one of the well-maintained picnic areas, go kayaking, or swim at Fort DeSoto’s North Beach, recently voted America’s Top Beach. It’s a short 45-minute drive to Busch Gardens where you can get up-close-and-personal with the animals, ride the roller coaster at the theme park or enjoy a stage show. Or visit Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios, all just 90 minutes from our condo.

We have enjoyed the west coast of Florida for over 20 years. This is our second condo on Isla. We liked the view and location so much we couldn't resist - and have never been disappointed.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful Condo for the month of March 2013.
It was clean spacious and well equipped with everything you would need.
The view from the balcony of the inter coastal waterway was beautiful and the sunsets spectacular.
The grounds and pool areas are very impressive lined with many Royal Palm trees.
We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful condo, fully furnished with everything for all your needs. We sighted dolphins from the balcony several times a day. Dick enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the new Bayway bridge being constructed. The property was exactly as portrayed in the photos. Highly enjoyed our stay in your condo.

From the moment we arrived and saw several dolphins in the bay outside the balcony I knew the trip was going to be great. The condo was clean and the environment peaceful. Its location to area attractions makes it a great place to plan day trips or just hang by the nice pool. I'd definitely recommend this property and come back again!

2012 Florida

The unit was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was clean and well maintained. The Internet was intermittent called the owner and he suggested connecting directly to computer. This worked. Pillows need to be replaced in master. They were very uncomfortable to sleep on.The last four days Of our stay were almost unbearable with the stench that was emanating from the man made lakes at Isla. I would not recommend Isla to anyone unless the problem with the lakes is fixed. We had heard about this problem when we decided to rent at Isla and were reassued by VRBO that the problem had been fixed.There were no facilities for barbecuing at the resort. I realize that you cannot barbecue on the balcony but other places we have stayed have provided barbecue facilities at a central area.
Recommended for:  Age 55+
Owner's Response: We were surprised to learn that our renters experienced internet problems. Our laptop has always worked perfectly at the condo, so we will investigate with our provider. The odor from the rentention ponds is a problem we were notified of shortly before these renters arrived. Our condo association continues to work with the DNR for a resolution. None of the previous renters this year indicated this was a problem during their stay. As for barbeque facilities, had these renters inquired, we would have told them there are none available on the grounds. However, there are parks a short distance away that have picnic and barbeque areas.
We will be making our annual trip to the condo in a few weeks. The purpose of our stay is primarily to relax. This is also the time we repair and replace whatever needs attention. Our goal is that our renters enjoy their stay with us.
