This was a fantastic place to stay. You can walk out your back deck and 50 ft to the pool and bar. The bar overlooks the beach and lagoons. Nice to be on first floor no elevators to go back to your room. The owners are so nice. They invited us to play golf at their Country Club and we're so helpful with anything we had questions about.. Really made us feel like we we're home. I highly recommend staying here.

GREAT UNIT TO RENT

MY WIFE AND I RENTED THIS UNIT FOR 1 MONTH. WE MET THE OWNERS 3 YEARS AGO AND THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE AND ARE HERE TO MAKE SURE YOUR STAY IS ENJOYABLE. THE OWNER WAS AVAILABLE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS AND ASSIST US WITH OUR STAY. THIS UNIT IS GREAT BECAUSE WE WERE ABLE TO BRING OUR SMALL DOG WITHOUT ANY ISSUE. THIS IS A 1ST FLOOR UNIT WITH A NICE OVERLOOK TO THE OCEAN AND THE SIDE YARD IS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR. THE UNIT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED. BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE, FLATSCREEN TV'S, DVD, INTERNET, YOUR CANT BEAT THIS PLACE. VERY SIRENE AND QUIET AFTER THE SUN GOES DOWN.

A great location for a family vacation

We spent a month in this unit and I will say that it was worth every dollar.
The owners are very nice people and met us at the unit to show us around and called to make sure everything was OK once we were settled in. They also helped us find child care service from a reputable firm - something you will want if you want to leave the kids behind for a nice dinner.
The master bed is very comfortable (foam top; no slants or dips) and the unit has a lot of little extras that make your trip so much easier. A lot of attention to details can be found throughout the unit - with every supply you need already there.
As a side note, do not pack a lot. You really don't wear more than shirts, shorts and bathing suites in Ko Olina and the washer in the unit, while small since it is an upright, works perfectly well with your basics. And don't worry about towels, they have a closet filled with good quality towels.
But the best part of this unit is the location on the first floor - within steps of the beach, pool and bar. If you have young children, you will truly appreciate the convenience of not waiting for an elevator or having room for them to run around in a gated and secure area with plenty of space.
A final note, go to the local Costco or Safeway, buy fresh fish and grill at the pool. The grills are high quality and cleaned daily by the staff. The sunsets from the pool grill area and bar are the best in Ko Olina - and not crowded at night.
If you want a quality condo rental with a great location for your trip to Ko Olina then this unit is it.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

My husband, our 6 year old daughter and I stayed here in this absolutely gorgeous place! This is actually the 5th time we've stayed here, and there is a reason we keep coming back! With it being on the ground floor, it makes things very convenient. The view from the lanai is wonderful. This unit has all of the amenities you could possibly want & need: washer & dryer, full kitchen, two bathrooms, and lots of beach toys for the little ones. It's just a short walk to the lagoon, and there are two great swimming pools and 3 spas. The main pool also has BBQ grills and a great little bar you can purchase drinks from. It's a great place to watch those amazing Hawaiian sunsets!
Parking is not an issue as it is free and in the underground parking structure.
It's just a short distance to Kapolei where there are many restaurants to choose from. If you want to purchase groceries to stock the kitchen, there is a Super Target, a Costco, and a Safeway.
If you're looking for a great family friendly place to stay, I highly recomment this unit! We'll be staying here again when we come back next year!

We have taken many vacations and have always stayed in hotels and all-inclusive resorts. This time we wanted to venture out and explore new experiences. We came upon VRBO from some of our friends. Last year we traveled to Kauai, Maui and spent a short time in Oahu. This year we decided to explore the island of Oahu. After looking at several places on the VRBO website, we came across Patti and Harry's villa. The more we looked at the pictures and read the contents, the more we felt like it was the right fit for us. We thought how nice it would be on the ground floor walking out to the lanai and being feet away from the ocean. Arrangements were made for a 2 1/2 week stay. Everything that was discussed by Patti and Harry was exactly as described. Their villa is in a gated area and is absolutely beautiful. As to the surroundings, they are breathtaking. The pools are well maintained. Anna and Marcy (bartenders) at the pool bar are more than happy to help you with any questions that you may have about the island. When leaving the property and entering lagoon #2 (Honu) it is like entering another world. The man-made lagoons have calm waters and great snorkeling. We have seen several turtles and tropical fish.
Patti and Harry are the nicest people you would ever want to meet. They checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. We feel very fortunate to have met Patti and Harry. It's like two different cultures that have crossed paths and we feel like we have always known them. We highly recommend this villa to anyone.

What a great experience!

This was our first experience with VRBO and we were very pleased. We are from SF and have been to Hawaii many times, but never in a rental type situation like this one. We have twins that are 3.5 years old and a 4 month old so we needed a little room to be comfortable for a weeks stay. This particular unit was PERFECT for a family with or without children. Being on the first floor and mostly enclosed, made it ideal for easy access to the lagoon and back throughout the day. The place itself was perfectly appointed and was fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Harry and Patti couldn't have been more accommodating, having even taped the NFC Championship game for us on their DVR since we were traveling during the actual game! The place is great as it lends itself primarily to fun families and not so much the bachelor party clientele. The bar by the pool is great and Marcy (the main bar tender) serves somewhat as a concierge and assisted in recommendations as well as setting up reservations at some of the neighboring restaurants. All around a wonderful experience. Definitely would recommend this particular unit and in my opinion, for the price, you cannot beat it. Would absolutely return to that exact unit and for what it is worth, I find myself somewhat picky in places that I want to stay for a longer time, so that is saying something.

Beautiful- Patti and Harry are the Best!

What can I say, this was the perfect place to vacation for our family of 4. The whole family, including Kids (ages 4 and 2) and pet (mini-schnauzer) loved our stay. The property comes with 2 parking spaces (in Waikiki this is around $20+ per day) and is literally steps from lagoon 2. The facilities were great, and being on the first floor means no elevator rides between you and the pool/beach. The owners were excellent hosts, and anything we needed was accommodated. We accidentally forgot to pack some things prior to our final week on-island in Waikiki, and Kimmi was so kind and returned the box of clothes and other items to our hotel.
We were the first to stay at this unit and we were lucky enough to enjoy it for 38 days prior to moving back to the mainland. Whether you are staying for a week or a month there are countless activities on Oahu, or just relax at the pool and do nothing.

Very 1st Renter

Although this was more of a 'stay-cation' for me, I had an awesome 3 day weekend here. The owners provided everthing that was listed: beach towels, childrens toys, beach equiptment, etc. We were also provided with laundry detergent, dish washing liquid, and trash bags. The lawn area is great, especially for children. We literally sat out and watched the sun set.
Let me remind you that this is a self-serve resort.
There aren't any bellman to help with your luggages but there are 2 dollies that are available in the mail room. With the room being on ground floor, it is much easier to get around. The parking garage is just 1 level down, so you don't have to worry about walking across the entire property. Might I add, they have 2 parking stalls available for you. If you have family or friends on the island that just want to hang out, the resort does have FREE guest parking.
The closest restraunts would be at Roys, JW Marriot, Marriott Beach Club, and the few shops across the Disney Resort. There is also The Island Country Market (ABC store) available on site. The nearest grocery stores are a 5-7 minute drive to Kapolei. They have Costco, Safeway, Target. and a whole bunch of other restaurants there.
As far as activities go, head down to the Ko Olina Marina, which is located at the 4th Lagoon. They have all the information on snorkeling, dolphin adventures, catamaran rides, etc. You can call Ocean Adventures.I highly recommend staying at this particular room. The owners are very friendly, and they stick to their word. They are also punctual when it comes to emails and phone calls.
