This was my family's 2nd time to stay in this beautiful home and we hope to be back again next year. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked with utensils. Kids love playing on the rocky hills and adults like resting on the deck with the beautiful views. Town is about a 10 min walk away (nice walk with lots of deer). Owners are very responsive and super nice to deal with.

Snowed In!

Let me start by saying that the pictures do not do this property any justice, it is amazing! The view from the deck was fabulous and I only wish it had been warmer so that I could have spent more time out there. The highlight of our trip was the fact that we got snowed in for two days! Our children (and my husband) had so much fun using the sleds to go down the mountain streets for hours at a time. I am sure that they will have lasting memories from this vacation. We knew from the start after having conversations with the owners that they were very particular about the care of their home and that staying there would be just as nice as our own personal home and we were not disappointed. It was clean beyond compare and the amenities were wonderful. We cooked every meal there and enjoyed a very relaxing New Year's Eve watching the snow and the ball drop! I do recommend chains on your vehicle if you will be traveling there during snow season as the roads are a steep climb in that particular neighborhood. I would highly recommend this property to someone looking for a relaxing time.

Relaxing Weekend

What a beautiful place! We took my Dad who is 86, and had a delightful time. We watched the World Series, and enjoyed relaxing and just being at the cabin.
The cabin is very clean, and has everything you need.
The kitchen is amazing..........it feels like you are at home in your own kitchen!
Very convenient to everything in Ruidoso.

romantic 37th Aniv Stay

All I can say is this was absolutely PERFECT! My hubby & I spent nearly a week in this beautiful cabin! Has great views, everything in the online photos was as shown & better! It was just what we had hoped for & much more! We loved the area & if things work out we do plan a return visit. The owners are wonderful to work with & really are quite helpful - they go the extra mile for you! I don't do a good review unless it is deserved & this is well deserved! We have some wonderful memories for our 37th aniv! I cannot say enough good things about Trinda & Michael- great people! If you want a very nice place to spend in Ruidoso & great people to deal with GO With them! You'll be glad you did! Look forward to staying here again- maybe in the spring... Thanks for the great time! (Casa Blanca is a great place to eat. If need groceries, Walmart is best pricewise. The River Musuem was a good place to see. As was the Billy he Kid museum. Hurd Museum was Awesome too. Check out the area around Ruidoso too- some interesting places- Ft Stanton, Lincoln, Several cool places to see- Take it easy but have lots of fun too! ) Oh we had to get a carved Bear this time! they are beautiful & were on sale !

My wife and I arrived to an immaculately clean cabin with kitchen implements and equipment exceeding expectations. Attention to many details by the friendly, helpful owners made clear their love and high regard for their second home. Beyond their control, the neighbor's barking dogs were at times annoying. Nevertheless we would recommend this property with this relatively minor reservation. The deck was delightful and the good quality gas grill much appreciated. Beds were comfortable, and the TV and related equipment in the cosy living room were of high quality and easy to operate.

Clean, comfortable, lovely view

We had a marvelous time cooking out on the incredible grill and sitting on the deck with the gorgeous view. We got to watch deer come by every morning. The only drawback was the neighbors barking dogs. I suggested to that neighbor to put his dogs up in the evenings.

Escape the Texas Heat and We Love Ruidoso!

First may I state the owners are great to work with!! We booked our stay in March and had many email communications with them. We loved the house and it has more than you can ask for regarding a stay. The kitchen had more in it than mine at home, which I loved! Normally when we travel, I have to carry everything but the kitchen sink . .not here! Was just my husband and me and was perfect as we stayed for 2 weeks. We are heading back and stay next summers if the owners will let us!! Definitely stay here! By the way everything stated in the site was correct!!!

Our family of five had a wonderful time in the Lopez cabin. It very well equipped, and we were not lacking a thing. The cabin was just as the pictures depicted. The owners were very accomodating and we were close to everything Ruidoso had to offer. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend...

Spring Break Family Ski Trip

Could not have asked for a better place to spend our family ski trip. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for our family of four. The heated deck was especially nice with gorgeous views and the scent of pine trees all around us. We stayed here for a week, but would have loved to stay longer. Nice walk to town was only about 15 minues through the beautiful upper canyon. Loved this place and will definately be back here again. Kids especially enjoyed the bunk beds, movie selections and rock climbing. Owners were great to work with on a last minute booking. Thanks you!
