Our unit (#202-W) is on the only side of the complex that has a DIRECT GULF FRONT VIEW- step outside onto your private balcony and see your spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico! Walk outside and step onto the sand and the beach.
THE NIGHTLY RATE SHOWN IS THE NON-DISCOUNTED RATE IF YOU CHECKED IN TODAY. RATES CHANGE CONSTANTLY DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF YEAR. THERE ARE ALSO DISCOUNTS DEPENDING ON THE LENGTH OF STAY. PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR AN ACTUAL QUOTE. THE RATE THAT APPEARS IN THE AD DOES NOT NECESSARILY APPLY TO THE DATES YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. IN THE SLOWEST SEASON, THE DISCOUNTED NIGHTLY RATE IS AROUND $200, BUT IN THE HIGH SEASON CAN BE MORE THAN $400. I WILL BE HAPPY TO GET YOU AN ACTUAL QUOTE, INCLUDING ALL TAXES AND FEES.
We face WEST, directly into the water and the sunset. See the photos taken from our balcony. We are as far away from the street as you can be. These are the best views in the complex!!
Every night we were there, we sat out on the balcony with cocktails and snacks and watched the sunset. It did NOT get old.
Our unit is on the second floor, second unit from the left (south) if you are facing west (Unit 202-W). We are closer to the kiddie pool that the adult pool, which is near the 'north wing' of the building.
The island style suite provides two bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed), a separate living/dining room with a queen sofa bed, a fully furnished kitchen and washer and dryer (the washer and dryer work great- I did laundry every day I was there).
There are plenty of dish and bath towels in the unit, but you do need to bring your own beach towels!
At Sunset Vistas you can cool off in a large resort swimming pool (with a separate children's pool) relax in our whirlpool spas, revitalize in the spacious fitness center or refresh yourself by the fountains in the tropical courtyard. Satisfy your cravings at the on-site café and convenience store and sample a tropical cocktail at the beach bar.
Only 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport, Sunset Vistas is conveniently located near John's Pass Fishing and Shopping Village, St. Petersburg, Fort DeSoto Beach, Tropicana Field and Busch Gardens.
During our visit, we walked over the bridge to John's Pass more than once, with a 10 year-old and an 80 year-old in tow, so it's absolutely do-able. Lots of restaurants to choose from at John's Pass, not to mention ice cream and t-shirt shops. There's also a place where you can check out live alligators and have your kids photographed while holding one- I'm not kidding about this.
While there, we also walked in the other direction to the Publix supermarket, which is exactly one mile from the complex (I also drove there several times). Great place to buy your groceries; I love this chain. We used our kitchen for breakfast and lunch everyday, and even dinner a couple of times. If you don't feel like cooking or going out, there are places that will deliver food to your door at Sunset Vistas!!
Even closer than the Publix, about a half-mile down Gulf Boulevard to the south is Middle Grounds Grille, an excellent restaurant. There is also a Waffle House close by and other shopping and dining opportunities.
If you like to JAZZERCISE (I happen to be an instructor), I found a class less than one mile from SV and went twice during our five-day stay. The instructors were incredibly nice and the class was so much fun. It's held in the beautiful Town Hall facility on 108th street. Check it out.
I WILL ANSWER ALL INQUIRIES AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. I TRY TO UPDATE MY CALENDAR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, SO PLEASE LOOK AT THE CALENDAR BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST.
