We enjoyed our stay here, the house is neat and clean and well-appointed. It is in a great location right on the lake and there is plenty to do nearby as well. The owners are there if you need help with anything. Especially easy for trips to Great Escape.

One of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed. The house is very clean, we feel like it is home away from home.
What you see is what you get. The picture is exactly the same as the actual property.

Beautiful 4 bedroom home with every ammenity you can think of. Very clean both in the house, and on the grounds. Lovely peaceful lake view, and the porch was our favorite spot. It's located in the perfect place, just off exit 20, so it's easy to get in and out of. Will absolutely recommend to everyone we know. We (and our friends from England) had the best time.

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway here with family and friends. We lucked out with the warm weather in early spring and were able to take full advantage of the great porch area and the kayaking on the lake. Ken and Mandy were always available to help us with any questions we had during our stay. I look forward to another trip back here in the future. Peaceful/Relaxing and absolutely beautiful. =)

My sister and our family stayed with Ken and Mandie in July and absolutely had an awesome time in the Lake George area. The property was exactly as portrayed. We came late at night and they had a bottle of wine waiting for us to enjoy after a long day of driving. Facilities were clean and extremely comfortable. We actually liked the area better than actually being on Lake George as it was a quiet, small lake. We used the deck and lawn area frequently. Went on walks and bike rides with their bikes. Sitting on the screened in porch was the best part of our days there. Would definitely recomment this place and would certain look forward to using this again if we ever go back to this area. We are a group of 3 brothers and our spouses. When we arrived we were thrilled with our choice of vacation rental. The home was very clean and spacious. We were surprised and pleased with all the amenities.Ken and Mandy anticipated our every need, which made our get away that much more enjoyable.
The views from the huge picture windows of the lake and fall foliage was awesome. The fire pit was a nice extra. Although it rained most of the time there, we were able to take advantage of the break in the rain to enjoy a fire and a canoe ride across the lake.
We enjoyed a short drive to near by Lake George and Bolton Landing, and an even longer drive to Lake Placid. Although the drive was long it was worth it to see the former Olympic town, which was beautiful.
The communication between us and the owners was always quick and friendly whether it was prior to or during our stay.
We just cannot say enough good things about our stay. We would recommend this house to anyone and already have. It is great for couples getaways, family vacations, ect.

My husband and I were a little leary about allowing his parents to book this vacation house so soon after the delivery of my second child. Having a 3-year old toddler and a 1 week old infant makes traveling difficult at best.

After making sure we had everything we needed, we embarked on our journey to our home away from home for the week. The drive was quick and easy from our home. Our first impression of the home was jaw dropping. As beautiful as the pictures are on the homeaway.com website, the home itself was gorgeous. It is extremely spacious, beautifully updated, quiet, peaceful, comfortable...all of the wonderful adjectives you can imagine apply to this vacation home.

The kitchen is well lit and newly updated and contains all of the items you needs to dine in 100% of the time and the dining room (either indoors or on the front porch dining table) is large enough to seat everyone in your stay. The living room is also spacious and the views from the first floor bring the outdoors in through extremely large windows. The bedrooms (2 downstairs and 2 upstairs) are peaceful and quite. All four rooms are plenty large enough for 2 people, along with their travel gear. Between the floor space, beautiful beautiful furniture, and spacious closets in each room, there is plenty of room for everyone's belongings. The bathrooms (1 on each floor) are also very spacious, with plenty of vanity and drawer space for you to pack away your belongings to feel like you are there to stay. Pack light and do your laundry as needed or unpack a bunch! Either way you will feel right at home.

Ken and Mandy are amazing. They respect their guest's privacy and relaxation needs and have created and atmosphere that enables their guests to have it all. Stay inside and comfortably be a couch potatoe on those rainy days, or enjoy indoor (family games and reading enjoyment included) and outdoor fun and activity (biking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, sunbathing, etc). It's really all there - either at the home or just a short distance to Lake George village - and my family will definitely be coming back.

What a find!! Went up for the balloon fest but were just as happy to stay 'home' at this lakeside retreat. While there is so much to do close by, you don't need to leave the house if you don't want to as there is plenty to keep you busy (or not!) right at the house.
Incredible views!! House was spotless, grounds were immaculate. Did I say incredible views?! Bottom level is owner occupied, though you'd never know it. Extremely friendly and accomodating. We had full use of the property.. fished from the canoe & kayaks, grilled out, even cooked jiffy pop at the fire pit one night! Great time had by all! After seeing pics, our friends are all jealous. By far one of the best getaways ever. The ONLY thing that could've made it better would've been if the hot tub was outside rather than in the owner's porch : )
Would definitely recommend this property, though I'd rather keep it a secret ; ) Hope to return soon!
