Seven bedroom, 3.5 bath charming antique home with wide plank floorboards and other lovely period details. Located on side street parallel to upper Main Street. 3-minute walk to center of town. Sleeps 14. New window A/C units in most bedrooms. Large private side yard with relaxing glider-swing. Back yard has private outdoor shower, new outdoor furniture and new gas grill. Large updated family kitchen, spacious dining room and comfy living room with flat screen TV. Brand new linens throughout. Second floor has king bedroom, two queen bedrooms, a triple twin bedroom, and a single twin bedroom. First floor has bedroom with two twin beds and den with 2nd TV and day bed that pulls out and up into two twin beds. TVs have HBO and On Demand. High-speed Wi-Fi. New washer/dryer. Great for two families. No smoking.
This is a family house originally bought by 2 sisters and their mother. The second generation is now running the house.
Very historic, very close to town, can walk to all town events. Small children can play in the yard,playgrounds within walking distance. Good for family reunions,weddings
The house provides a sense of living history, while also providing modern amentities. It was built by a whaling captain and the small house in back, which is separately owned, was his counting house. The original character and beauty of LIberty St has been maintained.
