A Wonderful Family Christmas

We couldn't have found a more perfect home for our vacation! The setting is spectacular, the house is well care for and well appointed. We had a wonderful time and plenty of space to entertain our family and friends. The kids loved the pool and the golfing was great.
Barbara was wonderful to work with and checking in and out was hassle free. We will definitely recommend this home to everyone and we will be back next year.

They say that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is but in this case it isn't! The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The photos don't really do it justice. We had 6 adults and three young children and there was plenty of space to spread out so that everyone was comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and provides a great setting for fun and relaxation.
Barbara and Mark made every effort to provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. When we had difficulties adjusting the pool and spa temperature they made every effort to help us out.
The kitchen dishes and equipment were far superior to what you would expect in a rental. The furnishings were designer quality and Barbara and Mark obviously take great pride in making this home a very special rental. You will not be disappointed!

A Luxury Home Like No Other

What a glorious, elegant and spacious home! As a family of five adults and one toddler, we found the home to be everything we hoped for ........ and more. The layout is perfect and the furnishings are well appointed. All amenities were available and detailed instructions allowed us to enjoy the home without confusion or worry. Gathering spaces are large and with so many rooms, one could enjoy some private space when desired. The bedrooms along with their individual bathrooms allowed the required privacy. The casita was truly a gem. The spacious kitchen, butler’s pantry and dining area made cooking fun, effortless, and an enjoyable family activity. The new gas BBQ provided plenty of grilling surface. The south-facing private back yard with the pool, dry sauna, hot tub, exterior fire pit and outstanding view, drew us to this functional and beautiful outdoor space causing us to spend many enjoyable hours there. The gated community and home security systems left us feeling safe in this upscale and friendly neighborhood. This centrally located Rancho Mirage home is conveniently located for vacationers and simply cannot be beat! Barbara and Mark were wonderful to plan and work with and we thank them for opening their grand home to us and enabling us to foster many lasting memories of our wonderful vacation to the desert.

This house is AMAZING! Eight of us stayed comfortably and enjoyed the beautiful ammenities and furnishings. The pool and veiw were spectacular and the conveniences of the home made us feel like we were at a 5 Star resort. Not to mention how delightful and easy it was to work with the owners. The detached Casita was perfect and quiet. We stayed 4 nights in June and I wish we could have stayed another couple of weeks. We will be back next year and won't even look at staying anywhere else. Thank you so much Barbara for lending us your beautiful home! Ps. Stop looking around and rent this home. You will love it !!!

The pictures were great but could not capture the ambiance of the whole house. This home does not feel like a rental, it exudes class.The Kitchen is to die for and has all the amenities you could think of.
It is so spacious that you could easily share it with three couples and still have an ensuite for guests.The Casita is an awesome 5 Star suite on its own; only surpassed by the Master bedroom.
The pool and spa are located in a beautiful private area where you can lounge and tan to the sound of a trickling waterfall.
The gated security and patroling security make you feel very comfortable and safe for long walks around the complex.
Rancho Mirage is conveniently located half way between Palm Springs and Palm Desert, the two centers of attractions, golf,take in a movie, see the Living Desert, shop El Paseo Drive by day or downtown Palm Springs and take in the Thursday Night Street Fair after dinner at Las Consuelas, the LaQuinta Art Show is spectacular in March and go to the River Shops and restaurants.
The Cliffhouse Restaurant is a must before sunset.
Barbara and Mark will guide you there and make sure your stay is a pleasure.
I stayed a month so can sincerely recommend this home and even the good neighbors.

Expectations exceeded and we had high expectations

We had the opportunity to stay in this exquisite home for 10 days during spring break and we can honestly say it is by far the nicest rental property we have ever stayed in. It felt more like staying in your friend's home rather than a rental home due to attention paid to every single detail.The furnishings and decorations are beautiful. It could be a show home. All amenties are of high quality, from the commercial grade stove to the washing machine. The beds were most comfortable. The yard is relaxing and the kids enjoyed the pool. We would definately recommend the property to friends.
Joshua Tree National Park is a must see. The hikes around Indian Canyon were incredible, especially the hikes following the Palm tree oasis. As for shopping, Debra's Jewellry at the Dessert College Farmers Market should not be missed and of course the outlets are always fun.

A Perfect Home!

All I can say is WOW! Our family of five have been visiting the desert twice a year for the past 7 years. This trip was by far the very best. It was a combination of spring break and a chance for my husband and I to bond further with our boys before two of them head off to college in the late summer.
The home is simply stunning. Beautifully decorated throughout, exquisite taste in furnishings, private pool, sauna and hot tub, and my son loved hanging in the Casita where he had his own personal hideaway. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on.
We played frisbee, bocce, and took long walks at night. We camped and stayed one night at Joshua Tree (a must!). Went to an art show in Indian Wells, visited friends at Rancho Las Palmas Resort, went to the flea market at College of the Desert and went to the Thursday night fair in downtown Palm Springs. And don't miss the Palm Springs Museum. We saw a fascinating exhibit on swimming pools dating back from the 1930's to present day. Some great Hockney paintings. My only regret: that I'm missing Coachella.
Thank you again to Barbara and Mark for opening your home to us. We were sad to leave but fortunate to have stayed in such lovely surroundings.

We had a party of five stay at this beautiful property the week of March 4. Based on the pictures and descriptions, we had very high expectations, but the home exceeded all of our hopes. The master bedroom suite is spectacular, the kitchen and living areas offer everything you could want, the pool, hot tub and sauna give you the feel of a private resort. The community is beautiful, and we had access to the fitness center and tennis courts at the country club twice during our stay.
For those unfamiliar with the area, it offers everything. Great shopping malls and restaurants are within a very short drive, it is a golf and tennis lovers paradise, and outdoor festivals in Palm Springs on Thursday nights and a huge flea market on weekends are other attractions.
The entire feel of this property - from the rooms, to the amenities, to the environment - is one of luxury. It is billed as the best value in Mission Hills Country Club, and we couldn't agree more. We would return to it in a heartbeat, and it will always be the first place we consider any time we are staying in the Racho Mirage area.
