My friend and I were looking for a 3 day weekend getaway in the catskills. We really
wanted a place a great kitchen to cook but wanted to have a view and be in nature.
Well this Log Cabin is immaculate, luxurious and on a very quite road. We enjoyed cooking meals, enjoying the hot tub, beautiful deck with amazing views of Belleyere Mountain. There were plenty of games to choose from and great magazines and books to read. All the decorations and furniture were in excellent shape.
The owners really created something special here and I appreciated the opportunity to share it for a few days.

We recently stayed here for a long weekend and loved everything about the home and property. The look and feel of the cabin was perfect. t has the appeal of a wooden cabin with all the modern furnishings & appliances we enjoy. It is very private and the yard is huge; we currently live in NYC and it was a wonderful escape for us and our dog. The kitchen had every cooking utensil you could ever need - we felt right at home.
We didn't want to leave on the last day and we cannot wait to come back!

It was our second time at this property. We absolutely love it! The house has everything you might possibly need. It's very clean and very cozy. Jane is very helpful and very accommodating. The house is located in a very private setting, but close to shops and restaurants if you decide to go out. Belleayre Mountain is within 5 min drive. Lots of hiking trails everywhere. And I am sure there is much more to do around the area but we liked to stay at the house.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights following our wedding to finally take a moment to unwind. We couldn't have picked a better place to get away from everything and relax.

We were looking for a Fall getaway and break from the stress of every day and we found it! Jane & Bill's immaculate cabin was warm and welcoming. Large living space with a fireplace (!), kitchen, enclosed deck, jacuzzi tub and hot tub outside made every evening a private happy hour! The views from all the windows really set the mood. We enjoyed the relaxing setting. The shuffleboard and foosball and firepit are huge bonuses! The cabin is dog friendly - a plus, and I think our dogs got a good deal with all the walking and fresh air! Plus getting to smell all the wildlife - turkeys and deer and other critters, oh my!
Jane was incredibly helpful and generous to work with - she helped us find things to do in the area as well as shopping and places to eat.

We will recommend this cabin to all of our ski buff friends and anyone needing to get away from it all! Thank you Jane & Bill for sharing your home with us!!

7 friends and I had a college reunion at Jane's beautiful cabin in Belleayre. We were looking for a place to just relax, enjoy some games together and relive our glory days. Did we ever hit it on the head. We all traveled from various areas and was well worth it. The cabin is set on a beautiful piece of land with a very large yard for games and activities. As a bonus there is shuffle board, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a fire pit.

Coordination with the Owner, Jane, was so easy. She was incredibly helpful from start to finish. We even walked into the house to be greeted with sun block which was needed tremendously.

As you walk in you are in awe of the beauty and pristine nature of the cabin. Plenty of room for 8 of us to live and relax. We brought our own food for the 3 days we were there and had plenty of room to store it all. Anything and everything is accommodated for you including pots, pans, trash bags, cups, plates, and even walkie talkies, laundry, etc. We spent most of the time outside but there was cable, a few select movies and many board games.

There were plenty of linens, towels, pillows, TP, & paper towels to accomodate us all as well.

There are some other houses in the area but the neighbors were very friendly and we still felt as if we had the mountain to ourselves. Oh yeah you are on a mountain top by the way, with amazing views.

We recommend this cabin to virtually anyone. It will accomodate all your needs and you wont regret it. At least we didn't.

Me and my husband, my parents and our dog had a wonderful stay. The house is specious, clean, beautifully finished with pretty much everything you need for a longer stay. The property is secluded on a quiet road with beautiful views. Perfect place for a getaway from a busy city to just relax and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of nature.The owners are very responsive and helpful and take good care of the house.

I would highly recommend staying at this log cabin!

My group of 7 friends from Manhattan could not have had a better weekend at the cabin.

Jane handled all of the pre-arrival logistics and contracts with me, and is friendly, thorough, and easy to communicate with. She was accommodating with the key-drop off, and provided really detailed instructions for everything.

When the first car of us arrived Friday night, there was a light dusting of snow - the house sits apart from any neighboring properties, and Jane was thoughtful enough to leave a lot of the lights on so it sat there glowing in the snow to welcome us upon arrival.

We were delighted to find that the mostly open floor plan was perfect for our weekend of good food, good wine, good movies, and general good relaxation. The family room has awesome views of the mountain and great big windows- we spent most of our time in there on the very comfy couches, and the kitchen.

The kitchen is spacious and well supplied (we ended up buying some spices and condiments and left them there) and has a dishwasher which was kind of a luxury for some of us city dwellers.

We stopped for groceries at the last big exit on the way there and we would recommend doing the same rather than relying on the smaller markets in town.

I think the highlight of the weekend was the games tournament (there is a good supply of board games at the house) including shuffleboard and foosball in the basement, and sitting in the hot tub while it snowed.

We had a really wonderful time, and can't wait to go back. Would recommend this home to a family or a group of friends, and hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
