Children love our home for the swimming, fishing and the large sand area in which to build sand castles.

What to do, when you're not on the lake???: For your dining pleasure, you can boat to Zukey Lake Tavern. It is appropriate for the entire family, and has a vast menu. Go on a Wednesday night for their delicious large specialty pizza and receive a free Zukey Lake Tavern Tee Shirt. There are many wonderful other dining experiences within a 5 mile radius, just head to M-36 and go in either direction. Need more information, goggle Hamburg, Pinckney area for a list of current attractions and resturant choices. Yes, we have wireless internet, just bring your lap top.

For the Golfer, there are ten public courses within ten miles, My favorite places are the Links At Whitmore Lake and Whispering Pines Golf Course. The Links is very reasonable and offers an unique golfing experience.

For the shopper or movie buff, head into Ann Arbor or Brighton

For the those who enjoy walking and riding bikes, the Lakeland Trail is less than 1/2 mile away. You can ride all the way to downtown Pickney and Beyond! (20 mile path) We have six bikes and helmets for your use. Also for those who want a serious dirt biking experience the Pinckney Recreational Area near. (You would need to bring your own bike for that trail!)

Fall and Winter on the Chain: The Huron River Chain of Lakes in the fall is beautiful. The abundant wildlife is easier to see, and the flocks of birds heading north overhead is amazing.

Football fans travel here to attend the nearby football games at the University of Michigan, they enjoy the peace and quiet at the end of the day!

We like to decorate the house for the holidays, so your family photos will be complete with a decorated tree and the fireplace will have stockings to fill! The holiday dishes are available for your use, and your Christmas table will be beautiful! After dinner relax around the gas fireplace for coffee and conversation with those you love.
