This was , hands down, one of the best rentals I have ever used. ( i rented in the hamptons for many years and this was my favorite so far) The hosts were amazing and responsive (even from their int'l locale). And honestly thought of everything. It is perfectly laid out. Lots of well thought through light, space and amenities ( DVD, wifi, linens, pool toys etc) . The sun room and pool were our kids favorite. The place exceeds expectations! We had a rainy day and had plenty to do in the house. Pool and BBQ area and lots of grass. GREAT for families. We stayed with 4 children ranging from 6 months to 8 yrs and all equally loved the experience. Good layout for even two families to enjoy space and privacy. It was neat clean and SUPER accessible to town and the beach. ( 2 minute walk) The neighbors were friendly but not intrusive. The house was stocked with all the games, movies, books and safety features for young ones. We were so sad to leave. We would reccomend this and rent again for sure!! Also Sag Harbor is a great town (you could walk) and this place is a very short drive to E. Hampton also great town.

From the beginning Carmen was very responsive and accommodating to us as we planned our stay at her home. She responded to my emails promptly which gave me great comfort as we planned our family vacation at their lovely home.

Upon arrival we came to quickly realize the house was more than we could have imagined. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and can easily accommodate twice that number. All of the rooms were a great size, and the home was kept very clean and orderly yet it felt very cozy and comfortable as we quickly settled into our new temporary "home." The full sized bathroom upstairs was useful as we could all get ready at the same time with half using the downstairs bathroom and the other half using the upstairs. There were sunlights galore placed perfectly throughout the house which is great for us natural light enthusiasts. The kitchen was well equipped and we often made reference to how we loved the dishes, cabinets and decorating in general as you could tell that a lot of time, thought and love was put into making this a family home.

The outdoor pool is much larger than what it appears in the picture and is perfect as my son would tell you as he refused to leave the pool! The outdoor patio was amazing and we could have easily spent hours out there relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

The area itself is in a great location, about one mile from their main street which we often walked to and very close to the neighborhood private beach. It is also a quick drive to Montauk and other areas of the Hamptons which we often explored. We found ourselves on a very quiet block, very tranquil and it was not uncommon to find deer wandering the streets which made it all the more serene.

We are already discussing a return trip and would definitely stay at Carmen's home again.
