The apartment was absolutely amazing, it is difficult to imagine a better location in the Old San Juan. Very clean, spacious, AC was a BIG plus. Would definitely recommend to everybody.

Our stay at the apartment was good. It is in a good location; no need to get a rental car which is a good thing since there are hardly any parking spaces in Old San Juan. All the points of interest are close and within walking distance. This apt. was less than a block from the ocean. The description of the apt. was accurate and the kitchen was cheerful with red small appliances (microwave, toaster, etc.). The kitchen was well stocked with lots of utensils. The apt. was very clean. We had a minor problem after 1 day. One of the pedestal fans stopped working but it was quickly replaced when we called it in. I would recommend this place to others. It is not an ultra modern apt. but it is very comfortable. Since it is on the first floor, there is some noise from the foot traffic and the "music and celebration" that was held on the weekend provided a festive atmosphere but it did not last all night. It really did not bother us. Being in the neighborhood gave us the feel, smell and sights of Old San Juan. The small grocery store owner lady across was also very friendly! We greatly enjoyed just being able to walk out and enjoy the city.
The only suggestion that I might add is to maybe add a little bigger mobile AC unit to the apt. Sometimes it would get a little hot and this might have helped to cool it better. Overall, the heat would not last long and it would be somewhat comfortable. Since it is Old San Juan and the bldgs. are not air conditioned, we did appreciate that the owner did make an effort to put in a cooling unit for some comfort. Thank you and our stay was enjoyable.

My wife and I, our high school son and college daughter, loved our first trip to San Juan. Annett, who arranged our stay was most hospitable. 401 Calle Sol in Old San Juan was an ideal apartment and location for us. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. It is in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the Ocean View and Fort Cristobal, where we enjoyed our morning walks with our cups of tea and coffee. Yet it was very convenient to nearby restaurants, markets, and plazas. Irma met us right when we arrived, and was great at helping us become familiar with the island, the restaurants, places to see and things to do. We especially enjoyed her sharing her knowledge about the Taino people, the early inhabitants of Puerto Rico who welcomed Christopher Columbus. One morning there was a street vendor walking by our street selling fresh flowers like honey-suckle which we bought and put in a vase on our table-They smelled wonderful. A market about 4 blocks away allowed us to buy papayas, bananas and other breakfast items. We stayed 4 nights, but could have easily stayed longer. We loved San Juan and the people. We highly recommend the Vida Urbana company and very much enjoyed staying in Old San Juan. We definitely would like to return and stay there again!

I spent a month in San Juan for work and this was a wonderful place to call home. It had everything I needed (though it could use some coasters to protect wood furniture, and knives were on the dull side). The location is amazing, you step outside and you're right near Plaza Colon and San Cristobal fort. Outside noise never bothered me inside. Property was immaculately clean, much of is obviously new and/or recently remodeled. Will definitely stay there again when I go back!
