The first floor bedroom offers a queen size bed and adjacent new full size bath with seaglass tiled shower.

The second floor features a magnificent master bedroom with a sitting area where you awaken to mesmerizing views of the bay. There are two additional bedrooms, one with a queen bed and views of the bay and the fourth bedroom with twin beds. A sleeping loft offers a comfortable queen size sleeper sofa and TV.

Wonderful, memory making experience

You asked if I would write a referral for the Bayfront Escape property. I’m happy to do it. It was a wonderful, memory making experience for our children and grandsons. We crabbed on the beach and had a crab boil. We enjoyed the solitude of the beach and the beautiful sunsets. Our excursions took us to the Aquarium, Jamestown, and Williamsburg. We needed more time to do all the things there are to do. The house was great! We had plenty of room and the game table in the basement was an added bonus for the boys, as was the community pool. We appreciated the nicely appointed features of the house, especially the master bedroom with the great view of the bay. The owners have taken care to provide a comfortable home away from home for the guests who stay here. We feel lucky to have found it.

A Private Beach Retreat

We loved our time here! Coming from Southern California, the idea of a PRIVATE BEACH was very intriguing and this place more than met our expectations. It is located on a large wooded lot on a private road right on the beach! We found seashells and beach glass, saw turtles, eagles and deer, and listened to birds singing.
The accommodations were fresh and clean with a beautifully equipped kitchen.
We relaxed in the jacuzzi tub and experienced some amazing sunsets.We brought our 82 year old mother who enjoyed the view, the quiet, and the first floor suite.
The rental staff helped us find everything we needed in Cape Charles. We had great meals at the Aqua restaurant and Cape Charles Coffee House.

Excellent Large Family Vacation Home

We Loved this Vacation. Cape Charles is beautiful, Kiptopeke park is a recreation haven, and the Vacation home was extravagent, relaxing, and kid friendly all rolled up in one package. The rental management did an excellent job of getting us into the town, informing up of the attractions, and getting us settled in. We arrived at sunset and just as he'd said, "the sunsets were to rival Key West". The home is open and airy. Comforting beach decor. Plenty of room for our family of 10. The beach is a short stroll through the woods...then its wide open sands. Shells and sea glass abound. We felt comfortable with letting the teenagers take the younger ones on beach excursions. When they tired of that..they strolled to the community pool. My brother and his wife set out one morning to try their luck at crabbing. They came back an hour later with a whole bushel! This was a great vacation...4th of July Fireworks on the beach, reasonably priced antigues, friendly folks. We look forward to returning to this area year after year. If I have my way, it will be this same home every 4th. LOL. We really enjoyed ourselves.
