Very clean and plenty of room.

My family and I just returned from Clayton. This cabin was an excellent choice and a great place to stay. The owner's communication was timely and informative. The cabin was VERY clean, spacious and well equipped. Its proximity to the town of Clayton is excellent, yet just enough out of town for some great peace and quiet! The website listing was very accurate and the photos were a realistic representation of what we experienced. Beds and furniture were all clean and comfortable. Back porch had an excellent mountain view. I usually have at least one complaint or flaw to mention, but this experience left us only wishing we had more time to stay here! We definitely would like to visit again!

This awesome cabin is WAY bigger than it looks in the pictures! We had 8 of us total and there was plenty of room to spare. Cabin appears new, very attractive decor, beautiful wood throughout, big kitchen, dining table easily fit all of us. Plenty of place settings, lots of glasses, plates, silverware etc. Living area has 3 lounge chairs, big sofa, fireplace and TV. Internet and cell service works very well, not that you want to use it with so much nature to enjoy! There are 3 decks, 1 screened in.

The beds are very comfortable pillow top mattresses and already made when you get there. They really do have everything you need, linens, towels, extra blankets, cleaning supplies and even blowdryers. If there is something you need, the stores are all within 10 minutes from the cabin.

Lots of hiking, biking and waterfalls nearby. I highly recommend Minnehaha Falls, short drive, short hike, beautiful waterfall.

This cabin is absolutely wonderful. It was VERY clean, brand new, great view, great location close to the city of Clayton. Can't say enough about it. There were 2 adults and 2 children and were very comfortable. The hosts provided all the amenities one would need from the hair dryer to the extra sheets, to the coffee grinder. The porch is extremely relaxing! Communicating with the host was also very easy and uncomplicated. We cannot wait to return.

Porch Over Heaven lived up to it's name. The views at dawn and dusk were so "smoky mountain" beautiful. The fireflies in the evening's brought back childhood memories of playing outside on summer
nights and trying to catch the fireflies, we called them "lightening bugs". The sounds of the crickets
and frogs giving their own concerts was equally enjoyable. The lovely cabin was clean and had everything
needed for a wonderful stay. It's tastefully decorated and what we considered plush for a mountain
rental. The hardwood floors and the laurel staircase added special touches. The balconies were
wonderful for enjoying the views and the mountain air. The road to the cabin is paved all the way to the
door with a very short pleasant drive, less than 5 minutes, from Clayton. We have stayed many places in the mountains and "Porch Over Heaven" is definitely a preferred, can't go wrong beautiful place.

The pictures here are just how the cabin really is. It's clean, well kept and tastefully decorated. It's well located. Very close to Clayton for any shopping needs, Foxfire Museum and Black Rock State Park.

The back porch was a wonderful place to spend time outside with coffee and a book. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The Owner was very responsive and kept the process of rental going. Wonderful to deal with.

This was the perfect place for our "overflow" guests. It is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. This is a great location, convenient to shopping and restaurants and has a beautiful mountain view. I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin and everything was superb and exactly as described. We hope to visit again and would love to stay at this cabin.
