The pictures are great...but the place is even better in person.
Lots and lots of room and space. High ceilings are awesome.
When it was warm, the large windows, fans, and/or ac kept things cool.
When it was cold, the heater worked great.
Both couches in the living room are fold-out beds.
We had 9 people and were easily accommodated.
Don't mind that this place is on the 3rd floor. Seems like 2nd floor. It's totally worth it. And secure.
We loved hanging out on both balconies upstairs.
The church bells across the street rang every morning starting at 8am and we loved it.
The interior of this place was cozy and elegant. Beds put you to sleep as soon as you lay down.
The huge dining room served as headquarters to our wedding planning and decoration efforts.
We were in NOLA for my daughter's wedding and this house served well as headquarters.

Can't say enough about the hosts Mary and Liz.
Anything that came up, they accommodated.
Deposit check was returned promptly.
Treat them and the house with respect and they will take care of you.

The house was a memorable part of our stay in New Orleans.

Simply amazing! A group of us came down to New Orleans to watch some college football in Baton Rouge. We decided to stay in New Orleans the whole time, and couldn't have been happier.

The owners made renting extremely easy, and were responsive to all our requests i.e. the internet wasn't working, so a quick phone call and everything was up in running in a matter of minutes.

The home is immaculate. The detailing, the old world charm, the size and the furniture make the home extremely comfortable and inviting. There were 10 of us staying here, and it was more than enough room for everyone.

The location of the home couldn't have been better. You're located a couple blocks off the St. Charles streetcar, which is easy to catch for a quick ride to the French Quarter, and a block away is Magazine street which has a bunch of fabulous bars and restaurants. There's also a great grocery store down the block if you're planning on cooking and staying in.

Overall, it was a wonderful home and trip, and our group couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay here. We'll definitely be staying here next time we're in New Orleans.

We stayed here for the National Championship game. This house is awesome. Within walking distance to great bars and places to eat. The streetcar is only a few blocks away. Its a nice escape from all of the crazy of the FQ but also close enough that it's not a hassle to get there. The place is simply amazing inside! The owners were nice and easy to deal with. Would rent this place again in a heartbeat :) I would also note that this listing is for the the top floor so if you are traveling with someone disabled it would be nearly impossible for them to get in the home.

Owners were very helpful throughout our initial correspondence and stay. The property exceeded our expectations -- it was spacious, very tastefully furnished and decorated, as well as in an excellent neighborhood close to restaurants and public transportation. We will definitely be staying here again should we return to New Orleans.

I just stayed at this house with 8 other women for a batchelorette weekend. It was the PERFECT spot. The house is huge, 3 enormous bedrooms with bigger baths, large open and spacious kitchen big dining room with big table, and a living room that has enough room for all.

The beds were huge and comfortable, plenty of towels and hot water for showers. Furnishings were very comfortable.

We all lived in New Orleans for many years so location was really important. It was great to be able to walk to Magazine street and St Charles. Uptown and Downtown were both easily accessible.

I hosted my daughters bachelorette party Memorial Day weekend and Napoleon House was our base for the weekend. We had a wonderful time and absolutely fell in love with this house. We all agreed that the house was beautiful but our favorite thing was the bathroom with the rainforest shower head! The house is also in a great location with easy access to the St Charles Street Streetcar.

Lots of wonderful memories were made this weekend and this house will be part of those memories. We look forward to staying here again!
