We enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean and bright and perfect location for our needs. Midway beyween our son in Jarvisburgh and our Grandkids in Nags Head Also convienent to shopping and restaurants.We will probably book this cottage again in the near future.

Our week at the Bluebird was excellent. The "cottage," a small house, is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. Wooden floors are attractive. The gas logs provided a nice touch during cold weather. The owners were helpful in making sure our stay was pleasant and on providing recommendations for local dining. Liked the Black Pelican (historic, good food) and Hurricane Mo's. Enjoyed the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island. The beaches on the southern end of the island are especially nice. Also, a short drive or easy bicycle to the access for the Southern Shores Beach area.
