'Percy's View' is a beautiful Bailey Island summer cabin that sits on a ledge only 75 feet from the ocean. The breathtaking sunrise will cleanse the soul. Watch the lobster boats pass just beyond your reach as the local lobstermen head out for the days catch. Observe as they haul up their lobster traps right in front of you. Stroll down over the rocks with your fishing pole in hand and try your luck. As you cast out your line wondering what you'll reel in (striped bass, bluefish, mackerel) you'll soon think, ''This is the way life should be''. Sorry, no pets.

Our Dream Cotage

This was truely a dream vacation for my daughter, my wife and I. It is a little tight for 3 adults but with the sprawling deck it was easy to find space to spread out. The entire cottage is very clean and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we wanted, and new appliances.
We enjoyed the many hours spent watching the lobster boats leaving and returning to Mackeral Cove. We kayaked from Lands End and the beach at Makeral Cove. We enjoyed shopping locally and in Freeport on the only rainy day we had. We eat well and used the gas grill to cook several meals.
We have already deposited for our week next year and can't wait to get there.

The Way Life Should Be.......

Everyone should have the experience to feel the peace & beauty of this very special area. In 2009 my husband and I were so fortunate to have rented the North Cabin from Ron & Wendy. He is overseas this year, so my daughter and I rented Percy's View, because North Cabin was already rented, and we had the most memorable mother/daugher time.

Once again, this cottage exceeded my expectations. Perfectly kept, all details considered, the views, the crashing waves, the lobster boats. The full kitchen made it possible to never have to leave. It was heaven and we already wish we were back! I will be keeping my eye on next years calendar to enjoy with my husband.
